Have you ever sat in the middle of an exam and felt like, “Oh God! Why did I forget that? If only my memory was better!” Or have you ever thought that if you could do this with intelligence, how good it would be?


Many of us often regret our memory and many do different things to improve this memory. Many people think of multiple types of exercise. Although we generally done exercise for our body.

But for the benefit of our memory, intelligence, and brain we can do something that we do constantly even if we don't want to. Pretty simple we have to eat specific things that improves our brain capacity and knowledge.


We are eating every day. Just by paying attention and making some changes in this eating habit, our brain can improve a lot. Our entire body works like a system with our brain at its center.

All the signals from the brain reach all parts of our body making our body work. The brain helps us do all the functions of our body including our heartbeat, breathing, walking, and even our thinking. And we should take care of this brain power.

Let's take a look today at some foods that increase brain power and increase our memory and intelligence-

1. FISH:

Fish are inextricably linked to our lives. But many children of our time turn up their noses when they hear the name of fish. But when we talk about food being beneficial for the brain, fish comes first. In particular, salmon fish, sea bream, and large freshwater fish are very beneficial for the brain. They contain omega-3 fatty acids.

The biggest thing is – our bodies cannot make omega-3 fatty acids. And these omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish. In other words, we have to eat fish for the benefit of our brains and if we want to increase our intelligence.

One study found that people who ate more fish in their lives had more gray matter (a component of the brain) in their brains. And in the brain, this gray matter controls decision-making, memory, and emotions. That is, people who ate more fish could control these abilities more than others.

2. COFFEE:

If you start your day with a cup of coffee, good news for you! Two main components of coffee - caffeine, and anti-oxidants are beneficial for the brain.

Some of the benefits of caffeine for the brain are:

Increase attention:

A substance called adenosine travels to our brain and induces sleep. The caffeine in coffee blocks this adenosine from entering the brain. By doing this, our attention is increased as we stay alert for longer period of time.

Increase the feel-good factor:

Caffeine helps us feel better by increasing the amount of serotonin in the brain.

Increase our productivity:

One study found that those who drank a large amount of coffee at the beginning of the day or a few times throughout the day performed better on attention tasks than others.

3. TURMERIC:

Are you surprised to hear the name turmeric? The main ingredient of various curries, this turmeric is very beneficial for the brain. One of the main components of turmeric is curcumin, which directly enters the brain and can benefit the cells there.

And eggs, and nuts – the various ingredients in them improve our brain so that our memory increases and we can remember many new things.
