Excessive Mobile Phone Use: May Cause 4 Diseases((*||*))
Have you ever thought that you can spend a day without a smartphone? Mobile phones have now become indispensable around the world. If the phone is hidden from our eyes for a minute, we suffer from anxiety and uncertainty.
The prevalence of mobile phone use has become so much that a-two-and-a-half-year-old children have mobile phones. Easily Scroll through it and immersed in videos and games all day.
And the child's mother looks after the housework or goes to the office. None of us really have time to look at the invasion of mobiles that consumes us every day.
At a time when technology was not so advanced, people spent their free time acquiring knowledge or doing various creative activities. But due to the development of technology, mobile phones are now in people's hands.
And this mobile has become a daily companion of people. It can be said that mobile is one of the parts of this technology-dependent era. It has become essential to keep pace with the times.
But in the meantime, some negative aspects of mobile have also come to the fore.
Do you know how much this dependence on smartphones is affecting our health, relationships, and lifestyle?
Lets try to find out how this excessive use of technology is poisoning our lives.
INSOMNIA:
A person needs 6 to 8 hours of sleep every day to stay physically healthy. But if this sleep time of people is occupied by the use of electronic devices, then the possibility of sleep problems becomes strong.
Insomnia is one such problem. Insomnia or sleeping disorder refers to insomnia or short sleep. As a result of addicted to mobile for longer hours, the human body's need for sleep remains unfulfilled.
There are two types of insomnia-----
Primary or short term:
In this case, initially, the person has trouble sleeping but it does not have any harmful effects physically. Short-term insomnia lasts for a few days or weeks.
Chronic or Long term:
When insomnia persists for a month or more, it is called chronic insomnia. The causes of this type of insomnia are physical and mental fatigue, asthma, arthritis, alcohol consumption, drug side effects, etc.
According to the information obtained from various studies on insomnia, experts have identified specific causes. One of the reasons is the excessive use of technology.
And now when we talk about technology, the first technology that comes to our mind is the smartphone.
A case study was published in a South Korean journal. It shows that 63 percent of 18-29-year-olds go to bed with a mobile phone. This proves how mobile phones are causing sleep disturbances.
The prevalence of insomnia is increasing day by day. In this way, the young generation is sinking into a terrible darkness.
NOMOPHOBIA:
Due to the excessive use of mobile phones, people are getting mobile-related diseases. One such disease is nomophobia.
People's dependence on mobile phones has increased so much that many people are becoming addicted to mobile phones just like they are addicted to cigarettes or tea.
Fear of losing your mobile phone at any moment is considered a symptom of the disease. In the age of technology, not being able to use the smartphone for a while creates an uncomfortable situation in the mind.
At the same time, nomophobia is increasing.
Studies show that such problems are more common in those born after 1980. Researchers have had to develop special questions to test such patients.
The discomfort or fear of not using the smartphone for a long time is called 'nomophobia'.
Now you need to answer a few questions to identify whether you are suffering from this disease. Researchers at Loya State University prepared this list of questions.
In this test, the participants are asked to answer these questions. Their problems are identified on a scale of 1-7 points. Those belonging to point 1 here strongly disagree with nomophobia. And those who get 7 points are severely nomophobic.
PARKINSON'S DISEASE:
Parkinson's disease is a type of neurodegenerative or neurological disease. James Parkinson was the first to think about this brain disease, and the disease is named after him.
Excessive use of mobile phones can lead to this disease. Parkinson's disease is a brain condition that causes tremors in the hands and feet and the affected patient is unable to walk. Symptoms of the disease include weakness, depression, expressionless expression, confusion, and loss of memory.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a long-term degenerative and disorganized disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system of our brain.
Parkinson's disease is a result of long-term exposure to harmful radiation emitted by mobile phones in the brain. This disease is common in people in their fifties. However, the incidence of this disease has recently been seen in adults as well.
Symptoms usually come on gradually over time. Tremors, muscle rigidity, slowness of movement, and difficulty walking are most evident in the early stages of the disease. The possibility of this disease is evident due to the excessive use of mobile phones.
To get rid of Parkinson's disease, don't overexert yourself. Try different methods of rest, as both stress and fatigue can make the symptoms of the disease worse. Excessive use of mobile phones creates both stress and fatigue. Eat healthy food regularly and take better care of yourself.
BRAIN TUMOR OR CANCER:
A brain tumor is a condition where abnormal cells form in the human brain. This tumor is of two types. A malignant or cancerous tumor. The other is a benign tumor. Primary cancers that cause cancer develop inside the brain. And secondary tumors form in other parts of the body and spread to the brain.
The cause of most brain tumors is still unknown. Scientists believe that vinyl chloride, Epstein-Barr virus, and ionizing radiation can cause brain tumors. However, a study in England, it is said that mobile phones can be behind malignant or cancer-causing tumors. Radio frequencies emitted from cell phones increase the risk of brain tumors.
A review of brain cancer cases over the past 21 years from 1995 to 2015 found that as phone use increased, so did the rate of cancer. Therefore, scientists believe that there is a close relationship between the use of mobile phones and the creation of cancer.
In 1995, there were 2.4 cancer patients per 100,000, in 2015 it stood at 5. That means more than double. The results of the study were published in the Journal of Environment and Public Health.
Alasdair Phillips, lead researcher at the Study and Trustee of Children with Cancer UK, said: "The role of mobile phones has come to the fore in the search for the cause of brain cancer." It should be noted that malignant or cancerous brain tumors are formed in the area between the ear and the forehead in the initial stage.
Due to excessive mobile phone usage, it gradually turns into cancer. That is, mobile phones are playing an important role in accelerating the level of brain cancer.
Mobile phone is the latest and easiest communication technology. Its alternative is yet to be discovered. Science has no way of avoiding this discovery.
So its use is inevitable. But it is very important to pay attention so that misuse does not happen. It is wise to avoid unnecessary overuse.
That's it for today and if you have any suggestion or feedback regarding this topic or you think otherwise please let me know in the comment section below.
Wish you all wonderful people a happy and healthy body and mind full of energy and positivity.
Have a great weekend.

I've heard some of those before, my friend! The only reason I worry about my phone is because my locksmith business is tied to it!🙏
Hi - much the same as you wouldn't publish this on an individual website unless you have professional medical qualifications or career experience, I don't think it's appropriate to post it here either.
Several statements could cause distress to those who have friends and family members who are affected, for example, suggesting you can "get rid of Parkinson's disease," which is simply not true.
Whatever you said is correct but in my blog I said multiple times it may be caused by excessive use of Mobile phone never ever given any verdict about that. Because study shows a tendency but not any ultimatum. I'm not an doctor and whatever I said obviously based on published research done by experts around the world.
Wow! Is this for real? I would not have known. Wishing you well, success, and a terrific day.
Yes absolutely today a large section of people are suffering from mobile addiction and the outcome is so painful. maybe we advanced in many ways over the past century but the quality of our life become deteriorated more and more.
