I just got charged. I wanted to cancel and I had canceled auto billing in paypal. I still got charged. Can you please cancel my membership and refund the charge?

Hi

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

And cancel billing.

It is automatic until you cancel.

I would write to Billing about a refund, however terms and condition does say refunds are not refundable. I would explain my circumstances.

Hello friends,

I am planning to run paid ads for some of my affiliate products. The commission per sale is avg $50-75. I have about 5 products that I want to promote

Watching this to see the replies. I don't do PPC at all. Interesting to know responses.

Do you run any form of ads Derek? I would like to know about your experience.

None at all. I am curious to run some FB ads though.

I should also be starting running the ads soon.

Currently in the laboratory mode. i.e. figuring out the cost, clicks ROIs on paper.

I have zeroed down three places to run the ads. FB, Google/bing and native ads.
The native ad research is still on.
Native ads can get a lot of traffic for cheap but conversion depends on how much God loves you.
Google FB turns out to be expensive and I will end up spending at least $1000 each in testing to figure out what works.

The problem with FB is that it will keep rejecting your ads if it suspects that there is a hint of make money online stuff. It is very difficult to get MMO ads approved on FB.

I will keep you posted with my initial tests.

The facebook deep dive live training by Jay from .....I think June/July 2016 (going by memory here) (6week part dives into FB ads). Have a look, might be worth your while.

I am an expert in FB ads (if not experts at least 8 on the scale of 10). I do run them for my health care clients successfully. But getting MMO ads approved is a challenge. I have taken another domain just to advertise non MMO offers as it simply rejects my ads if I run them from my main website. On my main website, I write a lot of MMO reviews.

That's why I am exploring the other avenues too.

Thanks, that is good to know. If I need help with FB ads I'll asking you.

Sure thing.

:-)

Hi Pravin! It may help you if you read these: Cheers.

Florentino

With due respect Florentino,
These articles are from 2015 & 2017(and 2017th one doesn't really offer anything).

Technically, I am aware of how to run paid ads. I am looking for the proven strategies from fellow friends that are working in 2020 :

Thank you for your help.

Hi Pravin. Alright, if you have around 100 clicks onwards on a keyword in order to know if your post convert. Quite honestly a 50-100 budget is not effective. Say you need to test10 keywords with a cost per click of $1, according to the present calculation, you would need 1000 to 2000 dollars budget. It is not useful when you are starting out. The best strategies are the following: create relevant content consistently 3x a week and search for free ads. You may want to register for Site comments to get a visit and comments for your sites free. I hope it helps a little bit. Cheers!

Florentino

This helps :) I don't mind putting $1000 for a proven strategy too.

I wish you the best Pravin. As a brother in this endeavor, always take due to diligence. That is still a lot of money.

Florentino

Thank you. I am creating about 3-4 articles per week and getting comments too, still, my website is in the sandbox for 4 months. It is indexed and a few articles are appearing on 5-6th page.

Considering that every TDH is launching a website these days, the competition is high. I believe it will take about 8-10 months for my site to come out of the sandbox.

I know how to run ads but I am not good at taking the calculating decisions on when to scale the ad when to stop, what to change in the ad etc.

Keep me in your prayers for figuring this stuff out.

Amen, Pravin!

Hello Prav,

Thank you for your question, it's a good question.

I must admit I haven't had particularly good results from Facebook ads, I prefer Google ads. Although I do think it depends on what you are promoting to what works more effectively. I know of someone who is promoting barbecues on Facebook with huge success! So different things work for different people.

I don't know how much you know about Google ads, but you can set your monthly budget. I would start small and experiment as I find that some Google ads work better than others. You can also keep your bids low and gradually increase them as time goes on. Try different ads within Google ads as this can make a difference.

I haven't answered your question fully, but maybe this will help.

Wishing you every success.

Roy

Every bit helps :) Thank you Roy.
Yes, I am pretty decent with google ads (6 on the scale of 10). The problem with google ads recently is that I am not able to set ppc to my liking until I set the conversion properly. I have tried doing that with help of our support team but was not successful.

Facebook, I had a decent success with my clients, but never ran those ads for myself. Maybe it's time to try them out.

Good morning Prav,

The Google ads interface is certainly quite complex and there appears to be quite a learning curve. I haven't put any new ads up recently, so I guess when I do I will see some changes. Maybe you need to contact the support team again at Google ads?

I would definitely try out Facebook ads, especially if you have had success with your client's adverts. I see no reason why it shouldn't work for you Prav.

Wishing you every success.

Roy

Thank you Roy. The challenge with FB is that they don't approve MMO ads easily. It is a pain in the a$$ to get them approved. I couldn't get a simple page like campaign approved because on my site I write a lot about MMO product reviews. My page has 0 likes so far :(

It's amazing how things change Prav. When Facebook first started selling ads it was a great opportunity for people like us, as their ads were cheap! However, as time goes on they seem to be more and more picky about what they allow!

I have to say that I use Facebook less and less as they really do not seem to help businesses any more.

I heard a story of a successful Internet marketer who had about 750,000 likes on his Facebook page. 25% of his time was spent on his Facebook page responding to comments and answering questions. When he checked his analytics, he realised that only 1% of his traffic was coming from Facebook, he was shocked! He now only users Facebook to publish content, not to interact with people.

The 25% of extra time, now goes into its website! I have digressed slightly, however, and this is only a thought, maybe you need to be writing more articles on your website about your niche, possibly?

Roy

Very True Roy.

Organic FB traffic sucks big time and the paid ads are unreliable.

The problem with FB is that you never know when the account will get banned. My couple of ad accounts got banned and there is no appeal as well. Lost all pixel data too.

Since then I stopped playing with FB and recently I heard that the cost has gone up significantly (in last couple of months) for the leads.

It's amazing how things come in and out of fashion! At one point Facebook was brilliant for promoting your brand, however, that seems to have gone all out the window now! I guess because once Facebook was sold off they needed to make more revenue from advertising.

Have you thought about other ways to advertise like through YouTube or other platforms?

Enjoy your evening Prav.

Roy

Yes, youtube, native ad platforms, Google and FB are on my radar. That is the reason I was looking for best ways to split the budget.

I was looking for people to help me with the strategies that are working for them. They may or may not work for me but at least trying them would have been better than trying everything from scratch.

Good morning Prav,

I certainly look into YouTube advertising and creating videos, at the moment I believe YouTube is massive and a good way to get people to your site. This is something that I do.

Have a great day.

Roy

There are success stories daily posted here within WA, and you need to remember there are 1,000's of people that are not posting success stories.

Not everyone likes to share their experiences and lots of the highest revenue earners that I know here, like to keep to themselves and that is fine, that is up to them.

True Kyle.
Can you at least post the top referrals for the week/month from your side?

Hi Prav, bear in mind that a high percentage of people who join WA are complete newcomers to the business and a lot of those won't stick with it and become successful, that's just human nature!

Of those that do stick with it not everybody promotes WA and shows their earnings with it but remember, WA has a very large membership which pays every single month (or yearly!) and indvidual members are gettting those referal commisions month in month out, year in year out. Very nearly half of all the membership fees goes straight back out to members in the form of commissions so where do you think that money goes? Straight into members' pockets so they're successful, right!

For example, the person who introduced me has been earning commission from my membership for 5 solid years yet you never hear from him on the platform. Why? Well that's his business! Doesn't mean he's not successfult though does it!

I hear and understand people's need for some sort of confirmation that this platform works but it's not just about "see how much money you can earn by joining Wealthy Affiliate".

If people want to promote Wealthy Afffiliate they can be their own success story. Join, learn, do, tell and teach others, build your own tribe and following and that way you'll become successful.

Mark

Thanks for the insight Mark. I am not saying that people should post only WA sales success stories. Even $1 commission earned on amazon is also fine.

There are a few members who are here for 10+ years. I am sure they must be making a good commission in their respective niches.

It keeps others motivated if they see it is working. If all I see is 70% posts in success stories are from two years ago then for sure people get a doubt that whether it still works in 2020.

At least for me, nothing motivates me more than money. If I see the money I get motivated :)

Fair enough Prav but it doesn't "motivate" everybody, in any case, motivation comes from within. You shouldn't need outside influences to motivate you to to do what's necessary to create success for yourself..
Have a great weekend.
Mark

Agreed with your idea. I just received some success stories from Kyle. Just info to you.

There are new ones. Some of best you will find are in teh form of monthly updates reports. Tiffany (TDomena) has some great ones.

Mike (MikeBeatty) check out his progress reports over the past few months. Includes some great stats and graphs for traffic, subscribers and income.

Thank you Derek.
Let me follow these guys.

I am not saying there are none recently, just the volume is so less compared to the count of members here.

Also, I don't get the monthly updates reports. Do I get it on my registered email? I don't remember seeing it.

Cheers
Prav

You'll have to keep an eye on your WA newsfeed - these reports are their own WA blogposts.

Yes I totally agree with you Prav. We need to hear and see more successes. Keeping it to ourselves is not motivating anyone.I was thinking the same thing. Why aren't we hearing more success stories? Please lets hear those monetary success stories coming forth. They are very encouraging and motivating to everyone and I also want to celebrate your success with you.

Lets keep hope alive

Hi Marylyn,
I think we have been hearing some success stories but I believe that we need to hear more about wealth achievements or wealth building. I agree with you that I haven't seen much talk about what people are earning monthly, wekly or daily from their websites.

Yes, it is important to post our successes in building our sites but I think we need to hear form our peers if they are achieving their goals. How many of us are actually making money?
