Exclude you own IP from google analytics tracking
Hey fellas,
Most of you may already know this but you can exclude your own IP address from google analytics tracking. That way, whenever you access your own website, you will not be tracked as a visitor to your website. This way you will get real visitor count on your website. Just follow the steps below.
1. goto https://www.whatismyip.com/ and make a note of your IP address
2. On your system run -> cmd and type ipconfig and make a note of your IP address.
You may or may not get same IPs in step 1 & 2.
3. Login to your google analytics account
4. Click on admin on the bottom left corner
5. Click on All Filters and click on add filter+ and enter your IP address from step 1 as below and click on save.
6. repeat this process for the second ip address in step 2. If you got the same IPs in step 1&2 then you need not repeat it.

I didn’t know this. As a matter fact I had thought about it before. Thanks so much for taking the time to share this.
this is nice - but if you are in yjr uk most of the time you are on a roving ip address - so switching off and on at the router wil reset it .
anothe method is to go into you all in one seo settings and scroll down to te google analytics setting section and click on the administrator and other users you don't want to track
click update options at the bottom and you should be done
so any time you are logged into your site and you visit it you wil lnot be tracked.
using the ip does have the advantage of not tracking you if you use an incognito or privacy wndow to view your site.
thanks for this Pravin
