Who is Your Opponent?
For some time now I have been doing workouts in the gym and it is both interesting and challenging. When I started, I was experiencing pains on my muscles because of excessive pressure on them. Man, I just wanted to quit! As I continued, I started getting used and I don't experience much pain now because my body is adopting to such pressure and weight.
Amazingly, yesterday in one of my sessions, my friend suggested that I graduate to another level and did put a different and a bigger weight which to me seemed impossible. We started an argument and I showed him how impossible it was to do that weight. My friend told me something that didn't make sense at the moment but later it did.
"It's all about the mind!" That's what he told me with finality. My friend explained that if I limit my mind, it will just be. He told me to focus on the results and not on the weight. I decided to reluctantly follow his advice. I paused for a little while and focused on doing this weight. You know what? I was very surprised to do that weight and even more.
This left me wondering and asking myself: Do I have some hidden strength that I don't know about and my mindset has just limited me from extracting them?
Who is my opponent? Who is our greatest enemy?
In online business and in any other area of your life, always remember that "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE." IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR MIND!
Negative Statements We Must Avoid especially in Online Business
1. I can't do it
2. I tried before and failed
3. Suppose I fail once more?
4. What will people think/talk about me?
5. Suppose people will not like it?
The solution is to defeat the negativity in your mind and rise up to the occasion with "YES I WILL DO IT" statement.
If you keep on complaining and blaming others for your failures, you will never get to the reality of success.
I like the way WA lessons are designed. Both Kyle and Carson designed simple and easy to follow lessons that motivate every newbie to have a POSITIVE MINDSET towards online business.
If you want to succeed, you must conquer the opponent you!

IT COULDN'T BE DONE
Somebody said that it couldn't be done,
But, he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn't" but he would be one
Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, as he did it.
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that;
At least no one we know has done it";
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he'd begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle right in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That cannot be done, and you'll do it

You are your own opponent until the day you decide to stop beating yourself up!
Oh wow. I have to create a meme for that.
This post rang true to me as I have thought similarly at the gym. In fact, I had thought to quit it a couple of times but have told myself what good it is doing me and I can see results. It does take time though! Thank you, Paul :)
Yes, it does take time and effort but it eventually pays with good results. Thank you for stopping by Carol.
