how long will it take for referral income to show? i have received an email saying that my invitation was accepted and have been given 2 credits (1$) but it is not reflecting y

Could it be that your referrals are from countries that are banned here? Nigeria, Senegal, and Turkey. Or there is also a list of countries that are not allowed a free account, they have to pay for premium straight away.

Hi - if you click on the dollar symbol at the top of the screen, My Stats should show the income and My Referrals should show your referrals.

i know that i want to know how long it takes to "reflect" in my stats

It should be immediate. How do you know you have 4 referrals if they are not showing in your account? If you are in contact with them, you could ask them their username and check that have actually set up their account.

the 4 referrals are showing up under the referrals tab,
here is one of their accounts
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/baf

You only receive the payment of $1 if they complete their profile by adding a photo and a bio.

ohhhh okay, thankyou

will I be able to add my site onto google index when I upgrade to premium or will I need to purchase a domain in order to do that?

You should make it a priority so that google know your site exists.

Just submit your sitemap to google console. That's it

Hi - indexing occurs automatically, whether it's a free site or a purchased domain, and can take up to a couple of weeks. You will get an email when it happens.

thankyou for the info

Just follow the training and you will get to the lesson where you learn about indexing. Yes you will need a domain. You will come to all of this in the training.

thankyou for the info, would a domain from GoDaddy be usable or would I have to purchase a domain through WA

would an e-commerce site specializing in promoting computer accessories such as headsets, keyboards, etc be too broad for a niche?

That seems like a good idea as long as you know a lot about the topic

Hi Calvin
There are 2 areas of concern I have with your choice.

1. Your intent to do e-commerce.
WA is specifically set up to train people in the science and art of affiliate marketing, where we don't have to spend any money in sourcing the products - we just promote a seller's product and he pays us a % of the sales we generate for him. We don't need to buy any stock and we don't get involved with customer concerns.

Consequentially the level of e-comm training within WA is scant which may or may not affect you.

Also , at some stage in e-comm you will have to pay out money to get the product to the buyer. In affiliate marketing there is no payment to be made (unless you're buying ads) to get the product to the buyer by the promoter i.e. you, me, us.

2. The sheer volume of products you may be thinking of.
You are coming right up against all the other huge stockers and shippers from Amazon to RadioShack to Asos, Acer and every other computer manufacturer worldwide.

So, you will need some sort of incredibly novel 'hook' to get users to buy from you or you'll need Bezo's level of finances to buy ads etc.

If you dug down further and became a site all about "full ear covering headphones for tablet users" then, yes you will have less people looking for them but also you'll be up against less powerful companies with smaller budgets that you may well be able to beat.

Once you're established and getting a good flow of visitors/buyers then you can think about placing extra products that complement your original product/s in your store.

Having said all that; it's your site and your life and, if you're determined enough, you can do darn well anything you set your mind to.

I hope that helps a little bit

Hi D
thankyou for your insight

Any time Calvin - happy to help
