These 4 ChatGPT Prompts Are Generating 10 Blog Posts for Me

One of my websites is in the anti-aging niche and so deals with skin care, diet, exercise, supplements and so on.

A couple of days ago, I decided to have a Keto diet promotion and started off by finding a ClickBank product that I was happy to promote.

It had good testimonials, a high Gravity score, a money-making funnel without burying you in upsells and the unique selling proposition of tailoring your Keto diet to your individual situation.

Landing Page

My plan is a landing page containing my affiliate link, ten blog post articles linking to the landing page and a PowerPoint video that I can post as a scheduled Go Live video on Facebook or YouTube.

I don't have any problems with the landing page. That's just a matter of sitting down, writing a bit of copy addressing the transformation you can achieve with the Keto diet, why it should be tailored to you and a "Find Out More..." button containing the affiliate link. 30 minutes work.

PowerPoint Presentation

Likewise, once the ten blog post articles are done, the PP presentation practically writes itself. Then add a voiceover and render it as a video.

Ah... the devil, as always, is in the detail.

10 Blog Post Articles

What about the 10 blog post articles?

Time to turn to my hard-working (but not all that bright) PA known as ChatGPT.

Here's the first prompt I gave Chatty:

"Please create a 10 day content calendar for my keto diet blog. Each day must have a topic for 1 article I can write about. Each topic must be unique and different from the others. Give me your suggestions as a table."

This produced exactly what I'd asked for and I was happy with the ten topics.

I then went to my websites and created 10 blog posts, one for each topic and saved them as drafts.

Then, for each blog post in turn, I gave Chatty each of these 4 prompts (they were stored in a text file so it was just a matter of copy and paste):

  • Give me 4 article titles for the topic "Topic". Make them attention-grabbing.
  • I'm choosing this title: "Title". Give me an article outline in point format. It must have 4 sub-headings and each sub-heading must have 2 facts I can write about.
  • Write a 100 word introduction for me. Use a conversational tone. Start with a question that grabs the reader's attention. Break the introduction into logical paragraphs.
  • Now write a conclusion as just one short paragraph.

Where "Topic" was the draft blog post name and "Title" was the article title that I chose from the four suggested.

So my blog post was now fully outlined, with an introduction, a body and a conclusion.

Structuring the Article

I structured the article into a hierarchy of headings and saved the draft.

Once I got into the swing of it, each article outline took around 15 minutes.

I turned the first one into a published blog post today, That took longer (probably a couple of hours).

Completing the Article

I researched each of the sub-heading "facts" (sometimes with ChatGPT's help) until it contained useful information, got rid of some expressions that ChatGPT likes but I don't (such as "fear not!") and added two or three images to break up the text and add some keywords as alt text.

Then of course before publishing added categories, tags, featured image and excerpt.

I'll complete and publish the remaining nine over the next couple of weeks.

A work in progress.

P.S.

I just checked GSC, and the published article has been indexed.

I have been playing around with the Bard offered by Google, I have several partial articles that I need to get finished up and published, but I do find these AI assisters to be quite amazing and very time-saving as well. Not to mention, when you have writer's block uuuggghhh

How are you finding Bard, Stacie? Yes, they are brilliant at getting things started.

I actually love it, it comes up with some great ideas and some come cited as well which is awesome!!!

Thanks. I need to explore Bard.

Oh for sure, I think you will like it too. I have certainly been enjoying it.

Thanks for the endorsement. I definitely will.

Thanks Phil for sharing your work process. Can’t wait to hear more about it along the way! Do you make internal links on the blog posts to each other as well as the landing page? External links in the blog posts to informational/reference sites? How do you market? Pinterest pins for each blog post? How about YouTube?

Sorry for all the questions I’m just excited to learn more thanks Phil!

I'm sticking with the basics for this one, Holly. Though I will link all the posts to each other as they are finalized. And at the end, I'll create PP presentations from them, turn them into videos and publish them on YT. Other than that, I'm relying on ranking. But if I don't get it, I'll come back to social media.

Hi Phil,

I've told you several times now I view you as a mentor here. I note that like Brenda and Partha (among some others) your posts are actually more like training. You share some great content here, and I appreciate you do this here with us instead of on your own blog elsewhere. Your kindness is much appreciated, thank you much.

I've bookmarked this for later use as a guide for myself when I'm ready for GPT and add it to the one I use now for outlines.

Have a great weekend.

Regards,

Jason

I'm glad to help, Jason but do appreciate the positive feedback.

Another captivating one, Phil. Quite a bit of the terminology was foreign to me, because of my lack of experience. but, if I keep following you and 'absorbing' your great posts... I'll get there!

Steve

You're welcome to ask questions about any of the terminology, Steve. Of course, some of it becomes clearer from context.

OK, Phil.

Thank you,

Steve

You're welcome, Steve.

Great job, Phil!

I’ve been trying to like ClickBank, but the promo copies of products for my guitar niche have all been pretty poor quality.

I realize they can still be profitable and I do learn new marketing techniques each time I make an inquiry. 😎

Frank 🎸

Hi Frank,

ClickBank has changed so much since the mid 2000's. I gave them a peek after joining and their search alone seems very difficult to use. I quickly decided they weren't going to be part of my setup, but it seems others do still make money with them. Although I suspect not as much as 20 years ago.

Regards,

Jason

Hi, Jason

Yeah, many marketers make great money with ClickBank. I wish I could find a decent digital product for my niche. 😎

Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸

You have to be very careful of the product quality with ClickBank. It requires careful research.

As I said to Frank, you have to research ClickBank products very carefully.
