AI Has Given PLR a New Lease of Life
AI Has Given PLR a New Lease of Life
PLR stands for Private Label Rights.
It's when a writer creates content, such as an article, e-book or video and sells the right to others to use it, edit it and claim it as their own work.
Traditionally, WA hasn't recommended using PLR.
For two reasons:
1. A lot of it is crap and
2. The rights may have been sold to many others (maybe hundreds) and so if you use it, you may be subject to a duplicate content penalty.
Nonetheless...
I'm a big fan of using PLR as an easy way of creating lead magnets.
But I've always rewritten the content and built my own covers.
Overcoming the Problems
The first problem is easily overcome. You find a handful of really good PLR creators and deal only with them. My favorite two are Tiffany Lambert and Arun Chandran. Everything they produce is top quality. You can Google them.
The second one used to take a lot of rewriting work but no longer. I just take each paragraph from the PLR and ask ChatGPT to rephrase it. I then copy and paste the rephrased paragraphs into my Amazon KDP Word template (which includes a TOC, header and footer, disclaimer and About the Author sections) and voila, I have a new lead magnet and, if I choose, a new Amazon publication for sale.
Add a cover and it's done.
It's game changer.
If you need more information about how to do any of this, just ask.

I don't really understand all of this and would ask for more info, but it appears these are processes that are over my head and something I won't get to for quite some time, so perhaps I'll ask again once I get to a point where I'd be using this in my business.
PLR writers produce content and sell it to you and others along with a license that allows you to do anything you like with it. So you could use it for blog posts, publish it as an e-book, use it as a lead magnet, turn it into a training course etc.
The downside has always been that others have bought the same thing.
My point was that AI has allowed you to make your copy unique with just a little bit of work.

Do you have secrets to share?
More information would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Sami
Sure, Sami. Ask any questions you like and I'll do my best to answer. I also have some training on creating lead magnets that I can refer you to.
Thank you,
I will make a run at it and see what I can do with the information you have already shared.
Then maybe a question.
Sami
You're welcome any time.
