This is an email that I got from domains@listingdomsearch.com

PART I: REVIEW NOTICE</

I just got this email as well! I would also like to know how did they get all of my info??

I have had this e mail also.

Hi Gabriel

There are many ways in which they can get your domain. A Simple google search can find almost everything. These people have spam bots that scan the web for domains and there is almost nothing that you can do to hide your email and domain name from them.

Just ignore this mail as you do not need to submit your domain name to get indexed by Google.

Thanks for responding, Valie! :)
Well then, this privacy feature domain registrars are shoving in our face is ultimately useless and inefficient. What is the point of paying for it?

What is the name of your domain?

It's urbanrove.com

Hi Gabriel

I would not worry too much about this. Enter your domain name into the following website:

http://www.netim.com/domain-name/whois-search.html

You will notice that your registrant details are private.

You will also notice that they could not find your name because they called you: "Attn: REGISTRATION PRIVATE".

I would not worry about it too much, but if you are still afraid that something might happen, then maybe you should contact the support system here within WA

Here is their link:

hope this helps

Ok, thanks! :)

I don't know about the privacy side as I've bought my domains elsewhere, but I have had several of these emails and they are scams, just ignore and delete :)

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

For the past week I have been constantly stuck because I couldn’t find a niche that I was pleased about. I knew I had to find something specific and targeted, so I looked

I personally believe you are onto something that can work out well for you...and you will have the opportunity to promote your site and niche through "word of mouth", which I think is a very under-rated form of marketing!

Good Luck!

Antonio

A unique niche with good possibilities If you feel good about it, go for it.

Sounds like a good niche.

If it is something that you are familiar with, then it might be worth exploring. Below is a list of some of the things that you can look for in this niche:

1. Make sure that there are enough products to sell in your niche. If you can find at least 50 products on Amazon, then it is good enough. (use different angles in your approach)

2. Because you will be earning a 4% commission rate, try to find products that will cost at least $200. You will then earn an average of $8 per sale.

3. Do not worry too much about competition as you will always find good low hanging fruit keywords in almost any niche.

4. Also, look at the total reviews on the Amazon product list as this is an indication of how good the products will sell. The more, the better.

5. The only problem I have with targeting students is that they are very stingy when it comes to buying something. I was a student for 4 years and know that from personal experience.

NB! Remember that your first website will not be your last. As you build more websites, you will become a master at choosing a niche and ranking your articles. Please do not worry about failure and wasting too much time and energy on a niche.

There is also no such thing as wasting time in a niche because you will always learn something new and useful in the process. Sometimes you might get lucky and build a website that will earn you more than $3000 per month.

Hope this helps. If you ever need help on your website(s) or get stuck please leave me a PM :)

Wow, thanks for the awesome tips!
I've thought about the fact that students generally avoid buying things (especially expensive things), but there will always be someone who will actually need some products and if I'm persuasive enough and make the products seem 'forgettable' in terms of the price I think, hopefully, that I'll make some profit.

I know it's probably not the last and only website I'll create, but, for me, succeeding with the first one is somewhat a source of motivation to keep at it. If I don't manage to succeed with this first niche, I don't know whether or not I'll be enthusiastic about starting a new one.

Thanks again for your response. It really is helpful. :)

I can still remember my very first website that was also considered a "failure" by me.

Have a look at the following blog that I wrote about my first website. Today I am earning much more money than what I have dreamt off with that "failure" of a website.

So my advice is to give your website at least 1 year and try to write at least 100 articles on it.

With 100 articles it would be hard not to make money.

This way you can almost failure proof your website.

Sounds like an excellent niche. It is an ever growing population with unique demands. Finding the right products maybe difficult but I think you are on to something worth trying.

It seems to be a very unique niche. Your target audience is spot on since you ARE part of it. You will have a good perspective on what to promote. Even if you feel it's too broad, you can refine it over time. Good luck!

That's exactly what I thought. Being part of the audience is a huge advantage because I'll think just like my reader thinks.
Thank you.
