Is a 3 percent commission on a 2700 product any good?

For me, no.

Although it is $80 it is a terrible percentage Although I guess it depends on the niche. You need to od your maths with these things and sork out how many you have to sell to make a $1000

Thank you yes it does seem too low. About 12 I’d need to sell

Yes and do that with every product you want to recommend

I know 81 seems low, but let’s say it only takes 1-2 hours to write the review, and you only make one sale, that’s still 40-80 per hour. Any extra sales will be a bonus, as you won’t have spent any more time on it :-) I’d still add it to my site :-)

That is a good way to look at it

I agree completely! It all adds up in the end!

It depends on how often you sell it and what your targets are. Better than selling a $20 item with a 10% return.. Cause you would need to sell that at 40 times to arrive at the same destination

I haven’t thought that far but that is a good way to view it in that light

Hi - your commission would be 81, which doesn't seem a lot really. Is it a widely available product, or one that is only available through one affiliate program?

Yeah I thought it was a bit low. It’s harvest right dry freezer it’s only one I can find. It might not suit my cooking blog but just looked cool

You know you can’t get commissions on stuff you buy through you own blog, right?

Thank you for your input but do you have anything to add related to the question perhaps?

Just a warning. No need to be rude. I didn’t know at first

Hopeless

Hi how do I answer more questions? There doesn't seem to be many when I look

Hey Peter,

You may find the following video helpful: Hope this helps you.

Where?

I think I can’t find where all the questions are located

On your dashboard, if you click on the little pin icon and select "New Questions," all the questions will then be shown at the top of your feed. There is always a large list and a 'show more' button to continuously show more.

Thank you

Anytime :)
