The author and journalist, Ernest Hemingway, was the master of simple language.

His writing is direct and lacks flowery prose. This makes it an ideal model for business writing of any type, whether it be sales letters, business plans or web pages.

With this in mind, one of the most useful tools for aiding and improving writing is the Hemingway App.

This App critiques your writing and makes suggestions for improvement.

Until now, the App has been web based and free, but recently the designers released a desktop version for an affordable $6.99.

The desktop App has some extra features, such as file management and markdown support.

I have used the desktop Hemingway App to prepare this post. Based on the tool's recommendations I hope I have provided a more enjoyable reader experience.
