I use a VPN in Panama too.It's the only way I can get Pandora or English Netflix. Does slow your computer speed noticeably though.
I have not tried this product personally because I have a subscription I am currently paying for but when it expires I am going to try it because it says it does not slow down your Internet!

Yes I tried them for a month but it really did slow down my Internet and being in China it was hard to find a close site that I could get a good connection.Did like the name though! Right now I am using Surf easy which is ok except for the slowness.
It is a private network that unblocks site that have been blocked by your paid provider. Here in China,FB, Twitter, Google and many, many more are blocked here in China (called the Great Firewall). also, many employers will block access to sites you can use at work. This will help access these sites.
Oh ok. So it is most useful to people in China, and any other country who blocks and limits full access to the internet.
