How to post a question to the community here at WA.
This blog is intended to be helpful for our newer members here at Wealthy Affiliate. Being new here, they may not understand how to do certain things. I hope this blog will help them to know how easy it is to post a question when they need help.
First you need to complete your account setup:
Go to this link and watch Kyle's Video Lesson on how to complete your account setup:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-en...
Now, once you've created an image of yourself or an image that represents you. Write a brief Bio. of yourself, just let the community know a little about who you are.
Your image and your account page should now be completed.
Now, you want to post a question to the community here. This is how you will do this:
- Click on the arrow at the bottom of the little Pen.
- Select "ask your question".
- Write the topic of your question ending with a question mark.
- Elaborate more on your question in the field below.
- Choose a classroom, for example, if the question has something to do with Wordpress, choose "Everything Wordpress".
- If your question is related to your training here at Wealthy Affiliate, you should choose "Wealthy Affiliate Platform".
- Now, just click on "submit your question".
- When you click on the Globe (second on the left of the Pen).
- The response to your question will be in the drop-down under this Globe. There are other notifications in the list, so you need to look for the one related to your question.
- That's all there is to posting a question here. You can also get answers to your question by entering the Chat Community. Just click on "Live Chat" under Activity Dashboard.
- If anything here is not clear, please contact me or another member here at Wealthy Affiliate. Take care.

Thanks for this information. I was using the "Live Chat" but I wasn't sure about what I was doing. I was hesitant to ask questions.
Thank you for posting this. Many questions are being asked in blog posts instead of in the "ask a question" area...not sure if questions should stay there or if it is ok for so many people to be asking questions in the form of a blog post?
