Hey everyone

As I may have mentioned I am trying to change gears. My first 6 months at WA has really been dedicated to trying to understand affiliate marketing, building camaraderie with you and everything that goes along with it.

In these next 6 months, I am going to focus more on building my niche community, social media and monetization.

We have been told time and time again that videos are one of the best ways to engage our audience. With conversions at 80% if you are not on the video marketing bus you are likely to be left behind.

However, that does not really give much comfort to those like me that might still be deathly afraid of making videos. I call it the 3P syndrome - Panic, Paranoia and Paralysis. Well brothers and sisters be afraid no more.

Eugene was the first to point InVideo software out to me though I am only now getting around to it. Thank God I bookmark stuff. Sorry Eugene but better late than never. So what did Eugene say......

How would you like to

  • make professional videos with high-quality stock videos
  • have pretty cool soundtracks
  • make a video without having to buy equipment
  • be able to convert your blog post into a video (freaking unbelievable)

I followed the advice Eugene pointed me to and did the video under in 20 minutes. This was my first video production and first time using this software. Tell me what you think. It's a WA post - 8 Ways to Save Money - that I converted to video

https://invideo.io/preview?id=Mjg3NzMzNjI5OTU1MTk4NzM1MTkzND...

Can you see the power in this? If you find this wayyyyy cool please like and add your comments.

I have that freakish fear of appearance on videos, too. My son is really good at them, and tries to talk me into it but I usually chicken out. Videos are the key I'm missing to monetization. There has to be a way to get over that. I really have tried. Maybe brainwashing myself or having someone tie me to the chair...no that would be more torture. So I have a couple ideas I've tried like making a video with screen or hiring a person to appear for me that way I don't have to sit there trying to get the words out while feeling so weird.
Or maybe a mask! hahahaha the Nixon mask or N95 just kidding
Thank you for making me feel better about my awkwardness in creating videos.
Kind Regards,
Nurse Becca

Just talk to the camera! I have my ugly mug on Youtube interviews. If it was live and there were tons of people in an auditorium, then it might be different though!

Jeff

Becca I think you could perhaps do a 30-second intro to a topic briefly showing yourself...., Hey guys this is your Spitfire Nurse Becca coming to you from the ER where today we will be talking about....
And even if you don't want to appear at all you can do a voice over. I think you need to unleash your talent girl.

I agree, Hugh!

Howzit Becca, I have not "talked to the Camera" as per Jeff, I think as you are a Nurse why not wear a Face mask, talk with it on and just at the end ,take it off and just say Hope you enjoy.

Cheers
Murray

That sounds like a Great idea, Murray!

Jeff

Well done Hugh, this looks like a great way to produce a quality video. How easy was the software to use? 20 minutes is quite quick to produce your quality video, especially if it was the first time using the software?

I'm going to bookmark this blog post for future reference.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday,

Roy

Roy it was super easy. Basic word skills and then drag and drop videos or images. The software is very user friendly. I would recommend you look at a YouTube tutorial just to get a fast 'How To' then you are off to the race.

Good morning Hugh,

Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.

That's good news as sometimes software can be so complicated to use! YouTube is soon useful for tutorials, it certainly makes life much easier!

Are you using the free version or the paid version? I see there is a seven day free trial for the paid version.

Have a great day.

Roy

Howzit Roy,
I was introduced by Eugene, and as Hugh say 20 mins. can be done.
I would highly recommend ,to have a GO.
You'll enjoy.

Cheers
Murray

Good evening Murray,

I hope you're doing well. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question, thank you.

That's interesting, 20 minutes is pretty good to be able to make a video of that quality. I have bookmarked this page for future reference.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Roy

Howzit Roy,
Nice to hear from you.
My world a bit up in the Air at present, we have returned to UK from South Africa and in Quarantine, 7 Days to go(Stuck in Room most of the Day)👎👎 .
I at present just use the free Version, and find it suits my needs at present.

Cheers
Murray

Good morning Murray,

Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.

It's good to hear from you Murray, I appreciate the info.

I'm sorry that you're in quarantine, are you from the UK, as I am also? It's not good to be stuck in a room! I'm afraid I believe that this Covid issue has been deeply exaggerated!

It's interesting that you are using the free version, I notice that they give a free seven day trial for the paid version. Have you looked at any alternatives, Murray?

Have a great day and I do hope you are soon out of quarantine.

Roy

Howzit Roy,
Glad you liked the Info.
I have as yet not looked at any other Alternatives.
So no comparisons I'm afraid.
We stuck in Quarantine at a Hotel next to Edinburgh Airport, 6 days including today to go, can't go quick enough.
To be honest I try not to use the 7 Day Free Trial, as you get all the Bells and Whistles , then when it ends, BACK TO BASICS and of course you cannot compare.
I haven't checked on the Price, so may revisit.

All the Best Roy.

Cheers
Murray

Good morning Murray,

Thank you very much for your reply.

It's always good to hear recommendations, regarding products, however, from what this thread is saying, it sounds like a good product.

I'm sure being stuck in quarantine isn't much fun, I guess this is a good opportunity to push forward with your online business! I do hope you will be set free very soon.

I understand where you're coming from regarding the seven-day trial, it's hard when it ends! I guess that's why they offer the seven-day trial or part of the reason!

The price is $15 per month if you pay annually. I guess if we were going to use the paid product it would be good to try it for one month before committing to the annual payment.

Have a great day.

Roy

Howzit Roy,
5 Days to go, so on downward slope. HUURAH.
Good point you made about trying out premium for a week free if you are going to buy.
Cheers
Talk Later.
Murray

Good evening Murray,

Downward or upward slope!? Try and make the most of your time (I am sure you will) it's a good time to focus online when you are locked up! You will soon be free again!

When someone gives me a free trial for a product, it brings me great trust. It's a bit like Wealthy Affiliate offering free membership with no credit card required! Having said that, I went premium immediately as I saw the benefits!

Wishing you all the best and I do hope your next few days go quickly.

Roy

Quite Right it's a upward Slope.

You make a good point about a Free Trail, maybe I should have a re-think.

Cheers
Murray

Good morning Murray,

Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.

Just for your interest and you may well know this; if you go to pricing at Invideo, there is a comparison chart that shows you different pricing.

Four days to go until your set free, Murray!?

Have a good and constructive day,

Roy

Yeah I can see the Light at the End of the Tunnel.
I'll go and have a Look at the Pricing, thanks for the Info.

Cheers
Murray

This is excellent! Thanks so much for the heads up. I am definitely going to take a look at doing this! Can you point us to the instructions Eugene gave you so we can also give it a try?

Oh and just as a side note: You have a typo in the first slide of your vid ... 2 seconds in "Expenss" is missing the 'e' :)

Best, Shannon

Hey Shannon
Yeah thanks for the typo catch. You should be my editor lol. I found that this YT video really explained it very well InVideo Tutorial: The Best Online Video Editor (2020) . Hope it helps you as it did me.
Hugh

Thanks, I'll have a look :)

Thanks for sharing Hugh. I want to do this myself. Wondershare Filmora I think is $69.00 a year or one time (can't remember) I am an affiliate as well so probably would get it cheaper but as of now just do not have the money but video is huge. Admire anybody that does their own videos because this is next level. I mean this doesn't really compare to proper videos with your face in with different effects etc. but It is still a great way to get backlinks and a huge opportunity.

I am looking forward to building up some skillset so that I can certainly improve quality and perhaps my live presentation.

You nailed it!! I have pretty much a "chronic" version of the 3P syndrome, lol. I thought I was doomed as far as making videos was concerned as there is no way I was going to be recording myself. Man, this is the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you, this is Stunning!! Stay blessed.

Hey Tania I think you feel what I felt. It was like groping in the dark and somebody felt sorry for me and said here let me show you the light and the way. Take advantage of it and let me know how you do.
Hugh

Thank you. Perfect example for say "One candle does not loose its bright by lighting another" I believe when we do, we shine even brighter. Thank you Hugh.
