Day 23: New site content. WA content tool claims my content is duplicate?

Hello dear readers and welcome to day 23! Let's get right to it!

So here I am in Japan, I've been struggling with a throat cold, which slowed down my content production but I'm proud to say that I've persevered by writing in short bursts. It's not super fast and goes against the requirement of writing a minimum of a thousand words a day but this is where I am at currently, I will make the best of it :) I'm happy to say that it all added up to an excellent article that I just published on my website! Hopefully it will lead to my first conversions using the WA method :)

I am a little concerned however, I wrote the article using WA's content tool, but when I went to publish, I got a warning that I have "duplicate content" in my article (which is all well and good but I'd like to know what part of my article is considered "duplicate"). This comes as quite a surprise considering that I wrote it completely from scratch and did not copy/paste any of my content from anywhere else. Is this just a glitch? I did paste it in the community section here on WA to get the community's feedback, so I'm wondering if that's what set off the alarm? I'm wondering if I need to request to have that post removed so that google doesn't red flag it? It's a very important article and I want to get as much exposure to it as I can.

I beseech you dear readers, do you think it's something to worry about? Am I paranoid? Should I sacrifice a teddy bear on a moonlit night to the Donald? (I love teddy bears but I can always build a monument in their honor later as reparation).

I humbly await your insights dear reader, help a fellow WA keener out!

-Kyle

Copy your content .. and paste it into a tool to check for duplicate content... plagium.com is a good one..

This will analyze your content and show links as to what is duplicated and relevant sites where it has been found.

Make the necessary changes on your content .. and publish it again :)

Posting it here would most likely have caused this but I would go ahead and publish

It can happen, just try rearranging a few sentences.

If it still says duplicate, use a some online tool to check for uniqueness to see which sentences are claimed to be "duplicate". If all seems good, then you can publish it regardless of what site content says.

Hope this helps.
