My website is beginning to come together finally

Last week I started creating my first website. Things weren't looking all that great so I easily changed templates and I like this newer one much better. Naturally I was having difficulty adding my Amazon Affiliate product links. They were appearing as coding, not links so I turned to instant chat where helpers were quick to teach me what I was doing wrong. I was copying and pasting the amazon link as directed by amazon and dropping it on to my website where I wanted the link. It wasn't appearing as a link because I was under "Visual" mode instead of test mode. Once I changed the text mode to add the link, it worked fine.

I still have a long way to go on my website but it's a start. I'd like to invite you all to look at it and offer any input you may have. http://shoplittmannstethoscopes.com/

I did notice that due to the overwhelming amount of training and information on WA website, I often forget what I learned in the previous training classes/courses. I end up going back over them time and time again.

I am just eager to get my website completely up and running so I can get it ranking in the search engines so I can actually start earning some money. This is definitely not a fast get rich gig. It takes a LOT of sweat and tears as well as countless hours, days ... months to get it rolling appropriately so patience is a requirement and hard work... dedication.

Hi Pam. Congrats on getting your website up. As Kyle so often says, if you get it up there you can always work on it. I am fairly aged and had so much trouble verifying with Google I honestly thought my brain would fry!! Nurse needed!! I haven't done the affiliate links yet, my brain needs to recover, however, just plunge in the deep water. Regards, Jan

Katie, I have to admit, patience is not one of my best virtues but I am working on it. Thanks for taking a look at my site. Pam

Hi Pam and excellent job. I too am in the building a website mode. And I as well have to re-read over my lessons... But I believe we are in the best community for help and support.... Keep believing and never stop. You will get where you want to be. Good job Ms Lady! :) :)

Thanks Toriluxe for the encouragement. I wish I had more hours in the day to keep working on my website and lessons as once I start I like to keep going. It is when I have to stop and not get back to t for a few days is when I lose my train of thought and have to go back through the lessons. You are right though... this is an excellent community for guidance. Keep believing!! Pam

No problem Pam. You are actually my encouragement. You're off to a good start with your website. Keep Believing! :)

Like you Pam, I'm already worried that when I get to build my 2nd site, I'll have to go through the lessons all over again as I sure won't remember a thing. But well done you! I haven't even got to adding affiliate links yet!!!

Giulia, Adding the affiliate product links was tricky for me but it is actually very easy now I know how to do it. I only have one link added but will be doing more today hopefully. You can do this. I think one of the hardest parts of getting started was coming up with just one niche you're interested in. You can do this. Just keep plucking away a little at a time.

I'm with you. Building the website the first time is confusing, but I've gotten a start!

Barbara, I believe the important thing is... that you have started. It is always hard to take those first baby steps. Keep moving forward. Pam
