My first affiliate blog post!
I've been following the training for a while now and I must say I have learned so much in a very short time. I love how the training walks you through everything. It really makes it easy for those of us who are complete beginners.
I had already started a blog shortly before I joined WA, but I really didn't know what I was doing. I love gardening and I'm a very positive person, so I thought I'd combine the two and start a blog.
Somebody said, "write about something that you can't stop talking about" and I had a little think and then decided that it would be gardening. It's a subject I could talk about forever, so I think at least I am not short of material when writing.
But the whole point of writing was to make a living wage from it, so I wondered how writing about gardening could bring me a regular income? I had read about affiliate marketing, but I didn't have a clue what it was and how to apply it.
So a few weeks later, after having gone through some of the training, I decided I was ready to add affiliate links to my blog. I had already done this before but looking back at it, it was a very woeful attempt.
So after looking into it a bit further and taking a lot of advice, I created my first blog post including affiliate links with the title "Perfect gifts for gardeners - our guide". I really enjoyed writing this post, but I was also really tempted to buy more items and make another list!
I'm hoping that people will find this list interesting, so many people garden or have an interest in gardening, so I thought I'd make life easy for any friends or loved ones who are in need of ideas for a Christmas gift.

Your name reminds me of A Spanish teacher in the nursery my children went to. When we lived in Spain, her name was Nuria Just brought back lovely memory's as it goes.

Funny you should mention a Spanish teacher, I used to teach English in Spain many years ago.

Wealthy Affiliate really is a great place to learn about Internet marketing and a great place to be around positive and helpful people.
Just for your interest, I have been at Wealthy Affiliate for four years and I am still discovering new things, just a few weeks ago I found a page full of different training videos! I had never seen this page before! We never stop learning.

Haha, yes I can see how we will be discovering new things all the time. WA is a huge platform, it's quite overwhelming at first but I'm sticking to the training for now and then I will venture into other corners.

Thank you Susan, I must have misunderstood the task in lesson 7, it said to write a blog and it suggested the following:
Your progress thus far
Your website that you have created
Something you have learned thus far.
A question that you may have.
Any successes (not just financial, but things you are proud of)
Your plans and goals in the upcoming 3 months
Your plans and goals in the upcoming 6 months
I thought it was ok to share the website, I will remove the link.

You can list the post that you created just not link to the website hun - as a Premium Member you can share your site with the community under the right-hand side of your profile you will find a follow me - you can list it there :)
