Yeah, I think that's an oversight I agree, but definitely not on purpose. It's one of those things I think a lot of us take for granted just by the nature of how domains work. But you're right, if you don't know, you don't know. I had a site before I joined WA and wouldn't have even thought of that being missing in the training but I definitely see your point.

So hopefull they will update training module 2, lesson 1 so new WA members dont have to go thru what i did.
And YES, i will be retaining my WA membership. I intend to get the yearly membership at the end of the month.
