Good to see you again here at WA and your blog. Thanks for all you do. Not saying I dislike nurses and doctors, but I try to do my best to stay away from ya all. When I do visit it usually means I screwed up really good. Like when I jumped my quad into the creek at 45 mph and did not miss that big ass rock the put a big ol stop to both my bike and me.
My shoulder is still pissed off about that!
Or the bottle jack flying into my face like a bullet causing my nose to almost bleed me out. Still recovering from that one. I have fought some tuff men in my day, never took a hit like that before. A coworker said a minute after that happened to remind him to never hit me in the face and stay in firing range. I came back with, why in the hell would you want to hit a 60 year old man in the face to begin with. Oh I got the rest of the crew to giggle at that, getting them out of the Holly shit mode!
Nurses and those that deal with the public are great personalities, grateful for that. Here is a great example.
At an airport a flight got canceld and there was a long line of those trying to get on another flight. A very pissed off man pushed his way to the front of the line demanding to on the canceled flight, and stat! The young woman said it was canceled or something close to that and his responce was, " Do you know who I am?' Without pause, she got on the public address system and announced that there was a man at her gate that did not know who he was and if there was anyone there that knew this man, could they please come to the gate and help him. There were giggles heard, and the man said to her," &((*&(( You! She said, sorry sir but you will have to get in line for that also.
I am sure you get too see some interesting folks in what you do, God bless ya and again thank you for what you bring to the world.
