This is the shield bio time fingerprint reader which was designed by Niel Olsen and is manufactured in Johannesburg South Africa, by Shield Software Development Pty Ltd.

All the clockings that is saved and stored in the memory chip, which is a special electronic component on the internal PCB. These clockings get exported onto a USB flash stick, the flash stick is then taken to the main computer, where the Shield ngo -68 software program is installed.
At the computer the flash stick is then inserted into the USB port, In the Shield program is a certain program command. This command allows all the clockings to be Imported into the Shield program.

The import / export button is clicked, look at the shield program screen above after the button is clicked a pull down menu appears. In the menu is the two flash drive options--select the flash drive option 1. this option is ---import from flash drive, to export all the clockings into the Shield program for processing to produce the final attendance reports.

The above screen will appear, then click on the import button to start the process of importing the clockings into the Shield program.
The Shield program then processes all the clockings and accurately calculates all the times, and then produces many various management reports.
The program has an automatic interface into several various payroll packages.

This reader was designed by me for the workers on construction sites, where the standard clocking machines cant work because of the dusty conditions in South Africa.And many occasions no ElectrIcal powder available at the early stages.
