Question about my website
Good morning, afternoon, night! Whichever it is for your.
I have created a website that is strictly for my writing. You can call them short stories, poetry, or spiritual insight. These are all original works from me. I continue to add to the collection, but I am at the point where I want to start defining their worth.
I want to be able to monetize it, but am unsure of which direction I should take. I don't want to clutter it with a lot of affiliate stuff, but because I have no experience I am looking for your guidance.
I would appreciate any ideas anyone can send my way. My work needs to reach the masses, but I now need my friends to help me take it to the next level.

You have the makings of a very nice site although I would suggest adding featured images to the blogroll to make it more attractive.
Phil's questions below are the key to answering your question about monetizing.
I am sorry to be the one to tell you; it is against WA rules to publish our website URLs in WA blog posts. I recommend you remove the link.

1st I've been trying to figure out why my images don't show on my blog roll. Can't figure it out.

OK. So you now know how to get into your WP dashboard and how to find a post for editing... Yes or no??
To find your theme name go to Themes in the left-hand sidebar in WP.

I am not sure I understand your goal.
Here's what my observation is which may not be correct.
1) You have a website which I took a look at.
2) Your website has various writings on different topics.
3) You want to monetize your site.
I am confused as to what the topic of your website is?
If it is you want people to read your thoughts, that is going to be very hard to get visitors.
Both search engines and people want to find tangible help to solve a problem. How are you trying to help people and solve problems?
I think you have great writing potential, but first you need to focus on a topic. Writings, poems and spiritual short stories are not a topic.
I checked "inspirational thoughts" in Jaaxy and there are searches. With an idea like that you could
write your thought
find a book on Amazon review it and how it relates to your inspirational thought and have an affiliate link at the end.
Before you go to all of this work make sure you can find enough related books on your inspirational topic that have a good sales volume or you may never get any sales.
I apologize if I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do.
We want you to be happy with your niche and also make some money.

That was the direction I was looking for! I already have a different website that doesn't pertain to this one. I just wanted to see if I could merge my writing with something else. I just couldn't see it.
