New Opportunities!
It has been a fabulous month and a bit here at WA. I have learnt so much and am super happy with how my website is starting to look and how much easier it has become to write content and publish etc.
Due to the fact that I have already created so much this past month and have been spreading the word in my social networks, a local support group approached me about running a small and intimate workshop about self care (thats my niche).
So in a fortnights time I will run my own little workshop to a group of mums who all have children with complex medical needs like my little girl. This is the beginning of my dream and has opened the door to a new opportunity.
I have decided to try and make a difference in my community by running peer knoweldge based workshops that share my experiences and hopefully help others. It will be a great way to give back and also learn some very valuable skills.
I am so excited and can't thank WA enough for inspiring me to follow my dreams :)

Nicky, that is awesome. It is amazing how WA and the community of people in it are able to inspire us to follow our dreams. Even when the dreams lead to paths we were not truly expecting to be on when we joined.

Thank you Sondra, it is amazing and not what initially had in mind but seems to fit so well with my drive to help others.
Unfortunately most of our children have life long struggles ahead of them but we are all very lucky to have such strong kids who are little warriors :)

Alexis is doing ok, she seems to have picked up another bug so just hoping that doesn't land us back in hospital but otherwise we are going pretty well. How are you?
I am fine Nicky soon I will be offline to do some meditation before heading off to sleep so I will send some more Reiki and also add it to the group again tomorrow when the group opens up for support.
