A cute robot with a smile writing content on an old writing machine. There is a huge writing desk in the background with different elements and graphs on it, and on the desk where the robot is writing, there are tons of books, papers, pens, a lamp, glasses and a cup of coffee. The image represents the innovative AI technology used for content rewriting and creation.

Hey everyone!

I’ve been busy giving my website a major content makeover. Honestly, some of the old posts were pretty bad - not ranking well or not ranking at all - which left some gaps in my website. So, I decided to face the problem and rewrite almost everything.

Using Google Search Console, I identified the problematic posts, made a list, and started rewriting them one by one with the help of ChatGPT. Over time, I fine-tuned the prompts to produce nearly perfect results. After a bit of editing on my part, the updates are polished enough to even slip past AI detection tools!

The results? Organic impressions have doubled and all the pages I have edited got indexed.

I would like to share the prompts with you. Feel free to give them a try.

First, I start with:

"Hey there! Can you help me rewrite my content?

Please, revise this:

----here I paste the content I need ChatGPT to rewrite----

Without hitting enter, I add:

"Make it SEO-friendly. Use the target keyword "--------------------". Use it when appropriate and rephrase it if necessary to avoid keyword stuffing. Use semantic keywords when and if needed.

Where it's spoken in the third person, "our, we, etc.", use the first person - "my, I, etc." - and act like I'm the expert, not someone else.

The text must flow perfectly and each sentence must make perfect sense.

Use a friendly tone. Avoid using Unleashing, Enhancing, Navigating, Journey, Unsung Hero, Unlocking, Unearthing, Ensuring, Vital, Tailored, Unveiling, Vehicle, Cracking, Culprit, Paramount, Leverage, Elevate, Shed light, Groundbreaking, Crafting, Embracing, Adhering, Crucial, Robust, Delving, Down the road, In the long run, Inconvenience, Adhering, Excessive, Tackle, Opt, Proactive (instead use initiative), Pinpointing, Vital or Diving at all costs. For those words, instead, use a commonly used synonym word.

Also, avoid using the sign ; and avoid using double hyphens "—", instead use just a single hyphen "-". Make the text sound more casual and friendly.

Only the title should be in h1 format, then subtitles should be in h2, and if there would be others - in h3,h4. Every title and subtitle must end with an adequate sign, either ? . or !

The text must be tidy and easy to read. Make it interesting and engaging even for the people who are already educated on this topic.

I also want you to emulate my tone, so here is a link to an article I have written on a relevant subject, so you can see and emulate my tone.

"--insert a link to an article you want ChatGPT to emulate the tone of--"

Also, elaborate on every part, making the content even longer. "

If ChatGPT trims a section and makes it shorter than you wanted to, try the same prompt, but instead paste only the section needed. ChatGPT will elaborate on it.

When you edit your post with the new text, and if the changes are significant, make sure to change the publish date, as it was published today. Just don't change the URL of the post.

The publish date menu with a calendar.

I follow the same process when writing new articles. I start with the AI assistant from Wealthy Affiliate, then I polish it using the prompt I mentioned earlier. After reviewing and adding my personal touch, the final result is excellent. This approach often results in a very low - or even zero - AI score when I test with an AI detection tool.

What do you think? Feel free to try it and share the results with me! It works for me, I hope it works for you.

Nice, Nick! I like your detailed prompt.

Thanks for sharing that!

Hey Howard!
Glad you liked it. I hope it will help you in some way!

Yes, Sir, I am sure it will! I am still learning how to fine tune AI requests.

Thank you for sharing, Nick.

Maxine :)

No problem at all, Maxine! You’re welcome!

I will try it. Thanks!

Hey Mark!
I can’t wait to hear the results!

Thanks so much for all the tips. It is appreciated as you actually told us what to do with actual prompts instead of generalizations that are usually "shared." All the best to you with your website. I will try this on my blog posts that haven't been indexed. Thanks, again. :)

No problems at all! I’m really glad if it helps you in some way. Share the results!

To be honest I have been doing something similar.. going back over my old posts made me cringe with the amount of obvious AI in there...

I like your prompts here... and I have just given yours a try and I can see it has done something similar to mine... but once more.. I definitely go through it all and try and make it my own..

I think the AI writers here are great for supplying the initial content... but I think they need more than just a few changes.. in my opinion they need complete re-writes... but they take all the initial hard work away...

They just sound too robotic and often full of fluff.. but hey, it is new tech... I am sure it will get better :)

Hey, Chris! You are absolutely right. Giving a personal touch and making it yours is the most important part.
