This weekend, one of my mentors came to Spain and ran a personal development workshop.

Awesome, refreshing, tiring, lifechanging are all words to describe the weekend.

Interestingly, I found myself in a room with several of my clients also attending the workshop. It was fantastic catching up with them. Their excitment was infectious.

However, one of the best things for me and quite humbling was their unasked for feedback.

"I love your newsletters and can't wait for the next one to arrive".

I have an open rate around 87% fairly high in our industry. I know something is working but what?

When I asked what they liked it was the mixture of topics (although I only cover one topic per newsletter), the action steps I create for them and the updates on my business developments. They said they felt they were part of what was going on behind the scenes.

They love the joint ventures. The clients who weren't part of them were asking if they could join a coaching session and learn more about them.

There was a buzz about meeting me - that was incredible as most clients are either online coaching clients or online buyers whom I've never met in person.

I was the student this weekend and probably one of the most humbling aspects of this weekend is that as content creators we have no idea the impact we are making on someone else's lives.

As online entrepreneurs we are so focused on building numbers and where the next sale is coming from we can forget there are real people behind every purchase who have dreams and expectations and it is our job to ensure that whatever we sell is there to meet a buyer's expectations or exceed it.
