Ah! That Monday Feeling
I love Mondays.
I am fresh from a restful (hopefully) weekend and am raring to get back on the computer to write.
For several years it has been an unwritten law in our home. Don't disturb Karen on Monday mornings.
The writing planner comes out. A list of topics for the week's writing together with outlines is created.
My writing consists of
- writing a chapter in a book
- creating blogs for each website.
- getting newsletters written and set up for delivery on Saturday
- Review of training courses for the week to ensure content is still current. I deal with the financial markets so need to know content is up to date.
- Scheduling Social Media posts for the coming week.
- Outlines for videos and whatever else I think I need to do during the week.
It is a busy time. I start around 7am and usually break for food at 2pm.
So, what could possibly go wrong?
Hubby is home, bored and hovering constantly.
The interruptions today were whispered "sorry to disturb you but.."
The damage is done. The train of thought broken.
While I've managed to get some writing done this morning. All I can say, is roll on Tuesday morning when I'll have my fingers crossed that hubby goes to his workshop and I can have interruption free writing time.
Have a great Monday.

Hi Karen
Wow, you’ve got organization and dedication down to a science! 👍
My time was micro-managed when I worked full time. Now that I’m close to 70 and almost fully retired I take life a lot less seriously. 😎

Not far from your age bracket Frank, 65 this year. But don't think I will ever retire. I retired when I was 43 and hated it. Luckily I have a hubby moulded from the same cloth and he has the same attitude to work
Hi Karen
The key is to squeeze all the things we enjoy doing into our life, especially as we get older.
It sounds like you’ve arranged things the way they work best for you and that’s paramount to a happy existence. 👍 😎
