Hi,
I want to use a custom domain for the landing pages made in Convertkit.
I need to make changes to DNS but I can't find DNS 🤷♀️
yes, it is hosted here and the site support says they cannot help me because they don't do it... whatever they meant by that.
I've written to Kyle, but he doesn't seem sure. We'll see.
Thank you Abbie
Convertkit says: "Once you've created your subdomain, you will need to update the DNS records"
I already have. I have asked them twice and they say they don't do it here.
Never mind. I will have to make some decisions obviously.
Thank you for all your efforts and sticking with me.
I have even asked Kyle. They just say that there are issues with Convertkit. Nothing else...
Thank you so much Abbie for devoting your time to me! I trully appreciate it.
Have a nice day
for most of the behing the scenes bits with your hosting you will need to open a ticket with support...
note that only wordpress content can be hosted here...
the info maybe listed under websites>>sitedomains >>settings...
maybe use a subdomain fir waht you are thinking of...
good luck ,,,

Hi,

I'm having this issue now. WA is a registrar and also a hosting provider so working with convertkit or anything that everyone else in the world is doing today should be possible, but WA support only knows Wordpress. I asked them to escalate to their "server provider" to get what I need accomplished with a booking site that I need to use with my domain and hosting here. This is super limiting and I'm guessing no one has storefronts or actual businesses outside of affiliate marketing here. Everyone on WA are just bloggers and not involved in any type of e-commerce...I can't believe that...not good for people who evolve from learning just Wordpress.
@nevenats please let me know if you ever got this resolved or if you needed to move hosting away from WA. Thanks
Hi,
no, this issue is still going on. They blame ConvetKit for this issue.
I haven't done much since then because I have had health issues. But I am thinking about leaving WA in September.
Hi Abbie,
No, I haven't contacted them recently. The last time, they blamed ConvertKit for having "issues"....
Yes, they didn’t even realize i bought my domain here…it’s been over 24 hours and the only response i received to my detailed question, was that I can click a button to set up Wordpress.
I’ve been here since 2016 so I know how to do that…but I asked for a workaround because they claim they cannot set up the A record to a website not hosted here.
I told them I shouldn’t have to set up Wordpress but if that’s the only way they know to help me I will…but then I’ll still need them to set up an A record to my domain or subdomain.
WA I’m sure doesn’t own its own servers like most hosting companies, but WA at least needs a tier 2 support team that has real access to the Cpanel. This is a super basic hosting topic…that most people can handle on their own dashboard at every hosting company.
If I don’t hear back or get another absent answer then I guess I have no choice than to create a redirect to the booking site….or create a landing page in Wordpress with a link to the booking site.
@nevenats I think creating a domain that redirects to the convertkit URL might be your answer.
I ultimately received a final answer of WA does not support configuring A records for any domains hosted here.
I guess the only websites supported are Wordpress sites.
To tell you the truth, I don't know how to do that. I will have to learn how to do it but in about 2 weeks. Maybe I could reach out to you for instructions if you know how to do it.

Last night I activated a plug in "Christmas countdown" and this morning I noticed that a row of strange icons appeared above the site and it keeps standing there..... Has anyon
Have you tried to refresh your screen, empty your browser and server cache, and maybe get a different result? But yeah, you certainly don't want it if it is just clutter.
Ensure they're compatible with your theme at the add plugin page.
Well, I had installed it first and only later, when I found out about the problem, I checked and discovered that the plug in was updated 3 years ago! So I deleted it and tried another one updated 2 weeks ago and it works just fine.
Thank you Abie.
Hi - they are broken image icons.
I wonder if it was supposed to display further small pics similar to the ones it already shows.
Or maybe they are some kind of placeholder for the snowflakes.
I don't know, but it certainly doesn't look very attractive!
Thank you so much for responding. I'll try to remove the plug in and see if it's back to normal view.
No, that's new to me.
Initially I thought it might be removing one icon per day as part of the countdown. But there are over 30 on there so I don't think that applies.
Probably best to uninstall and try something else.
Thank you so much for your response. I will try to remove the plug in and see if it causes this problem.
This is how it looks on my laptop, and on a mobile it looks worse because there are several rows of those...

Hello,
I created calendars which I want to sell on my website. How can I do this?
I have no idea... I tried to put them up on Etsy, but as a resident of Serbia, I cannot
You have FANTASTIC advice and information. Please let the community know if you still have any questions!
-‘Mike
You can also set up your product and its price on PayPal. Then you create a sales page and insert the code provided by PayPal. It renders as a Buy Now button and if someone uses it to buy your product, the money goes into your PayPal account immediately.
That sounds like the exact solution I was looking for. But I will need a training for it 🤣 I am dumb to do it myself. However, I will definitely give it a try as it seems the best and easiest solution.
Thank you so much Phil!
Unfortunately, I can't make a business PayPal account from Serbia either!
I can't make an account on Etsy.
I tried the Redbubble, but I can't upload PDF document as my calendar/planner is in PDF.....
It is. Plus I lost the whole day trying this and that.... and I'm tired of everything!!!
What do you mean VPN? What for?
VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. You'd be better off Googling it, but it allows you to connect to the internet without your private details (such as country of origin) being available.
I know it keeps your data private but I'm not sure if it's possible to "conceal" the data for the purpose I need. I will try to find out.
Thank you for the idea!
I've never felt the need to use one, so I have no experience to share. Good luck with your search.
You can sell your calendars online no problem. I certainly wouldnt use WOO commerce it is clunky and well there are better alternatives. I would recommend thrive cart which allows you take payment . You create your own sales page and then connect the payment to thrive cart
I plan to order it and use in several different sites and asked about that. They reply this is fine with one license but "you are entitled to one custom domain name, so we recommend choosing a more generic URL if using for multiple websites."
Would you know what they mean by that?
It is best to use some service where you pay once, avoid those that charge monthly or yearly. I think ThriveCart would be a good option. I have not used it yet but this WA member is using it for digital items and he can tell you more: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/andycalvin/profile
Use the wooCommerce plugin (PayPal and Stripe integrated gateways) or the Easy Digital Downloads platform.
But calendars are physical items, no.
I created digital calendars. Of course, people can print it if they want, after downloading the digital version.
Thank you Abbie

When I share my blog on social media, it shares the site's logo instead of the blog's featured photo. How can I change it?
I use Kids WordPress Theme By VWThemes .
Abie and Sasko have given you some very good advice and guidance here…let us know if you have any further questions.
-Mike
You can set them up with some SEO plugins but not others; what SEO plugins do you use?
In Yoast SEO, click the "Social" tab to set up the Open Graph and Twitter Cards meta tags.
In AIOSEO, find the "Social Settings" to set up the meta tags.
In Rank Math, you'll find a section for setting up social meta under the "Titles & Meta" settings.
Hello Nevena,
Go to your post in Wordpress editor, scroll down below the post you have "AIOSEO Settings". Click to "Social", Choose Facebook or Twitter and there you have "Image source", change it to "Featured Image". You must do that for every post. I am leaving you Screenshoots.

Have you got any advice regarding my question?
Where do I sell it? Who determines the price? What else should I keep in mind?
I may not be able to respond as soon
Howdy, you determine the price, but the buyer might have a different plan. You need to know what is suitable for your website and the market price for your potential website. Consider using a professional service.
You may list your domains using marketplaces like GoDaddy, Sedo, or Flippa. I would follow up on each site's terms and conditions, what you need to look for, and how to make sales. Also, I would use escrow services to avoid getting scammed. They typically charge a fee.
If you have a built site, it is worth getting an estimate and working out your stats so that your buyer | and the bidder can work out their ROI. And to prove authenticity and transparency.
Or you may employ brokers to sell your domains; they also charge a fee.
Good luck with whatever you do.
Resource Strategies for Selling Websites & Domains
Hi - you can use sites such as Flippa, Sedo or Motion Invest.
The price is typically determined by its monthly earnings.
For example, x30 is a typical figure, which would give you $30,000 if your earnings are $1000 per month.
Hi - well, it doesn't work like that; people are looking to buy profit-ready sites that are already making money.
And you will be expected to show proof of traffic and earnings before most resellers will accept your site.
I did try to help you a couple of months ago but noticed you have only written one post since then.
What are your future plans here?
Do you intend to start a new site?
Hi, thank you for checking on me, I appreciate it.
To be honest, I lost interest in this as I don't see the point. Perhaps I will quit soon. I guess this is not for me.
Thank you.
There are a couple of brokers where you can list your online business for sale. Flippa is the most well-known but you can find others with a Google search.
Most will take only businesses that are already making a profit and the sale price is generally around 3 times the annual profit.
