This is my 2nd attempt at working with WA. For whatever reason, I am understanding it more this time than before. While I am still overwhelmed a bit, for some reason I trust the process more this time around and am willing to stay the course, follow the training, and stick to it for the long haul.

Year ago, in the days of college in the 80's, there was a catchy little tune by The Cure I used to love. Before the politics on TV gets going, I sat down with a guitar and Youtube and learned the chords and guitar melody fairly easily from Marty Schwartz with GuitarJamz.com The point is, it was fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. I've been playing bass professionally forever, but somewhere the fun got sucked out of it. Over the years, It became a second job. Don't get wrong, I am grateful for it

I'm not sure what happened, but I got off my groove a bit. Get off work, eat, crash, gain weight. UGH! OK, I'm up an at em. Going to gym. Cardio and weights. No excuses. Come home, and start WA classes. I know that WA is the proper way to build authority and a secure web presence. It is already working. While I slipped and almost went overboard, I reeled it back in and am on track again. Time for more education. Time to add more fuel to the blogging arsenol. Time to continue the go

Here I am about to cook on an extra day off. It was a long weekend. I had to perform with a big country cover band Saturday night which took a great deal of time. They are perfectionist and I did my best not to let them down. My daughter made her way back to college today after being mad at me for telling her of neighbors complaining about speeding. NOT COOL! Went of Starbucks to tutor a student for ACT prep and saw another teacher who moved on. Got a text to practice with another band fo

Hopefully this will be like a New Year Resolution, but tonight I decided to make a spreadsheet to track sales and profit/loss for ecommerce using OpenOffice. If you are not familiar with OpenOffice, it is a free shareware download that is very much like MS Office. It has a text editor like MS Word, a spreadsheet like Excel, and a presentation like Powerpoint, and other features. Tonight, I made a spreadsheet for January sales based on my estimated cost and projected sales. As I go through t

Well, I started to branch out and start setting up blogs for different interests. In the past I would have one blog, but I looked like the scatterbrain that I am and it was a mess. Thing is, I found a sweet theme in WA but could not figure out how to change it suit what I was doing. I teach high school students; the theme is called "Kindergarten". I sat on it for a few days and almost uploaded or downloaded a new theme. Whatever it is you do. On one hand I was heading out to Barnes and N

Need to edit pictures for a webpage? You may want to check out PhotoScape at photoscape.org The site is not pretty, but the software is fantastic!Honestly, I have struggled with pictures for a long time and I will readily admit I suck at Photoshop, but PhotoScape will make your photo editing much easier. To begin, click the Editor icon in the top of the circle of icons. The left column window opens your computer files. Simply find the folder where you store pictures and they will appear belo

In my short time here with WA, I learned many things about WordPress which makes blogging life much easier. My sponsor took the time to send me an in-depth explanation of something I've been wanting to figure out for years, but for whatever reason was unable to figure out. I am impressed that he took the time to message me specific instructions which explained exactly what I needed to know. I will certainly do the same for others soon enough. Other posts I've read here have been equally in
