When a new affiliate blog or business idea arrives affiliate marketers are always struggling to peice together everything they need to get into profit and reach their goals. There's so much to juggle and many things to consider, and it's almost impossible to do it all without missing something.

Without proper planning, you could be wasting valuable time and resources on campaigns that don't bring in enough profit. As an affiliate marketer, it is important to keep your thoughts organized and make sure that your are making sound decisions that impact your marketing strategy.

As someone who has been studying affiliate marketing for 12 years now I have acquired a handful of tools that have been very helpful for planning my business and visualizing the business I wish to start. Here are my top 5 favorite business planning tools that I have in my arsenal.

1. Jaaxy Enterprise - Keyword Research Tool

Many of us here have access to some level of the Jaaxy Keyword tool. It is tremendously helpful for planning my campaigns. It tells me:

Approximately how much traffic I can get from a keyword.

How many SEOs are directly competing for that keyword.

How easy it will be for me to rank on page 1 for that keyword.

All three of those things are basically what every keyword tool out there will do for you, but Jaaxy is easier to use for beginners. I particularly love how I can group together keywords into a lists so I don't forget.

2. ContextMinds -Mind Mapping Tool For Marketers

Mind mapping has always been a popular tool for digital marketers. ContextMinds is a fairly new mind mapping tool that is particularly designed for marketers. Not only has it been great place to dump and organize my business ideas, but it also syncs with several popular keyword APIs and even ChatGPT, so I can see approximately how much traffic a keyword can bring, how difficult it will be to rank, and it can help me create my own content briefs using AI.

3. BrandBay - Cloud Storage and Organizing Your Digital Assets For Your Brands

Before discovering BrandBay I had 300+ bookmarks all over my internet browser, and nothing was organized. It had gotten to a point where I completely forgot I had certain tools already at my disposle. BrandBay has not only given me a place to store my files, like cloud hosting but is has been tremendously helpful at organizing my marketing assets, courses, and tools. I can even set up my BrandBay account with several of my own brands.

4. Geru - Funnel Mapping Tool

Geru allows you to build a draft & plan out a marketing funnel idea, and see exactly how profitable your funnel will be. You can even run a sensitivity analysis so you can see how your revenue and profit will be impacted under variable conditions.

Even if you don't know what your conversion statistics will be, it has tons of pre-built funnel templates so I can select the ones I wish to start and make small adjustments, and see exactly how it impacts your profitability.

5. LaunchMaps - Brand Message And Business Brainstorming

LaunchMaps is like a tool for you to design your own well-thought-out business plan. It is specifically for digital marketers, coaches, and consultants. If you want, it is also designed for you to take the input that you create, and migrate it over to their other tool called GrowthWorks, which actually builds out all your marketing assets.

Do You Use These Tools?

As someone who has invested in hundreds of tools over the years, I can definitely say these are my favorite ones when I am brainstorming, organizing my thoughts, and putting together a business plan. What kind of tools are you using to plan your next business?

Thanks, Nathan. Great tools!

I use Jaaxy Enterprise, Google Sheets, and pretty much do the rest “in my head,” a quite disorganized approach.

I’ll definitely be looking at some of the tools you listed. 😎

Obviously I am familiar with Jaaxy Nathan, but I can't say I have used any of the others yet!

They definitely sound worth checking out though!

Appreciate the resources my friend and enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Hi Nathan,

I just now discovered you from this blog post. I'm impressed with the training you have created for us and will likely soon be giving your A good study. I still need to hone my funnel skills and appreciate your creating that for us. My looking over your mind mapping tool reminds me I need to get a better understanding of setting up funnels to be effective at mind mapping some of what I wish to do.

Some interesting tools, thank you for sharing.

Regards,

Jason

You're welcome, Jason. I use content nodes to build all my sites. It makes them well organized, which Google loves, and when someone shares a top-of-the-funnel article a backlink is created, which increases my ranking authority for all the articles linked to throughout the node. :)

None of them at this time, Nathan! The only one I recognize was #1. Some good resources you have outlined here, my friend! Thank you, my friend!

Jeff

You're welcome, Jeffrey. Folks say I am a walking Swiss army knife. I have a tool for just about everything. lol

Haha! That is good, Nathan, and you likely do, my friend!

Jeff

Great tools, thanks for sharing! I'm using Jaxxy for now, but will check out the other ones!
