Content Nodes is a term that I coined which means a collection of interrelated blog posts that lead your audience through your marketing funnel.

Informational articles are considered "top of the funnel" content. These are for folks in the Awareness Stage of the Buyer's Journey. The goal of informational articles is to ask folks to subscribe to your newsletter, and link to your round-up/buying guides.

Round Up/Buying Guide articles are considered "middle of the funnel" content. These are for folks in the Consideration Stage of the Buyer's Journey. The goal of round-up/buying guide articles is to offer your reader a Good, Better, Best product solution, and link to their consecutive affiliate offers and product reviews.

Product Reviews are considered "bottom of the funnel" content. These are for folks who are in the Decision Stage of the Buyer's Journey. The goal of a Product review is to anticipate and address many of the questions and objections the reader has about a product to help them get off the fence about making a purchase decision. You can also highlight your own personal experience with the product, but that is optional.

This is how I build each Content Node.

My favorite training for writing and publishing these types of articles to your blog. (Courtesy of Jay)
