Need a little encouragement
Well, I started out with a bang a month ago. My 3 websites were all indexed and I was working so diligently on them. Within the last week my tendons in my ankle that I tore has gotten worse (find out my surgery date Friday), my 12 yr old was hospitalized and my dear cousin passed away of an overdose... he was 27....his Mother who was like my sister passed away less than a year ago as well. I completely lost interest in working on WA. My son is out of the hospital and doing well... I am very thankful for that! I believe its time I start working on WA again. One of my websites is on addiction, so I feel its so very important to continue my work...being I lost 2 loved ones to the disease and have seen one too many tragedies due to addiction over my years as a nurse. Thank you for taking the time to read my little update... Today is a new day and I am going to do my best to work on WA... I truly enjoy it!

Update... 8/17/16
I wanted to thank everyone for your kind words and encouragement. It has been quite a month. My 12 year old son is much better (he attends home school and starts tomorrow). Where did the summer go?
I have been working diligently my website ( I have become rather comfortable writing content). I continue to work through the lessons. I truly have enjoyed every moment thus far. I have learned to accept the fact my healing process with my ankle is going to take time....much longer than I expected. So, I have a nice little "nook" set up with my ankle elevated, my laptop, notebook, and highlighters...reminds me of college :) I took a tumble Sunday after church so not only do I have the torn tendons I fractured 3 bones in that same ankle. Several of my friends have offered to wrap me in bubble wrap before I decide to venture out again.
My cousins death lead me to find several volunteer opportunities in our community with young adults with addictions that have not been able to find a treatment center, that has helped me mourn his passing.
I am very happy to be part of WA, its a wonderful community.

You seem to have a lot on your plate, well done for getting through it all
My only tip would be try focusing on 1 site only, I have one site and it takes up all my time
I am an addict and a recovering alcoholic now 12 years sober
I know the power of compulsion to do more than is possible
I have learned in recovery to do one thing and do it well
I used to try and juggle to many balls and they always fall in the end
My site is coming on well because it gets all my attention and it is hard enough to get one site successful

Nancy, I am sorry life has been so rough on you and your family lately. I bet you will feel accomplished and feel like you are doing something to help others if you work on your site though. Helping others seems to make it easier to get through rough times in our lives.
I pray for GRACE for you to carry on, into the needed calm. As with all things, this 'mountain of whatever' too will pass.
Hang in there Nancy...I have been where you are and it's not a nice place to be...I found immersing myself in work was good for me but don't forget to be nice to yourself and no bashing yourself up either! I did that a lot but it didn't get me anywhere!

From my personal experience, Jude's comment about immersing yourself in your work seems to provide the best results.
I think so as well, I have managed to do quite a bit of work on WA today, my mind seems to stay focused... and time has passed quickly today.
Chin up, Nancy. Take care of yourself. You are doing great things for many people and are much appreciated for it.

It's a lot of bad stuff you are going through .. I am sorry this all happened....
But there are things you should continue living for and (believe me) enjoying life. It's your family and many of those who will come to your site and find refuge and consolation there...

You are certainly having a hard time of it at the moment Nancy, my thoughts are with you. Members of my family suffer with depression and anxiety and along with that, have addictive personalities so I know how difficult that can be. Remember to look after yourself too and sometimes immersing yourself in work can be the way forward. All the best :)
Thank you Jude! I think you are correct immersing myself back in WA has been really helpful today! Not being able to work as a nurse right now due to my ankle has left me rather limited...too much time to think of the "what if's" I was thinking as I was working on my addiction website today...even if I can help one person to not have the "what if" I have completed what I set out to do!
