Should I choose the Premium Membership on Wealthy Affiliate or not?
Hello everyone! Since I'm new here, I wanted to say hello to everyone out here. I have 3 days and 8 hours left to avail the 59% discount of the premium membership. I think I might be a member soon but I just thought to create a blog post and say hello to the members out here...
Let me start by introducing myself....
My name is Sana and I have traveled to a bunch of places including Dubai, US, UK, Australia and New Zealand in my childhood. I have a 2 sons - one is 6 years old and the other one died on 11th December 2013 (was an infant and had spina bifida). Aquarius is the star sign I am born into and love to help anyone who bumps into me...
My work history...
I am working as a virtual assistant + project manager since 2008. I have handled pretty much everything related to article writing, back link creation, WordPress installation and site development, logo creation, e-mail marketing, sales letters... you name it. I have always handled websites for my clients and never handled something of my own. So one fine day I decided to do something of my own (still in the process of doing it though).
The reason why I joined Wealthy Affiliate...
I had a website developed by a 'professional' for creating a static site of about $2000. Yep, I did not know the financial parameters of creating a website before as I never discussed this 'very important' point with my clients and was robbed eventually...
Now, I am $2070 in debt ( +70 for hosting+domain!!!). BUT this is not main reason...
I'm working as a freelancer on oDesk and Elance but let me tell you the truth...
- I am sick of clients who want me to think about their project while I am sleeping...
- I am sick of giving out my work without seeing my name under it...
- I am sick of utilizing my 100% energy on someone else's project...
- I am sick of meeting client's expectations and get the compensation in the shape of money.... only...
- I am sick of seeing my child going to sleep without listening to a bed time story...
Anyways...
Since I have taken a hell of a time of you all, let me quickly ask you some quick questions I am pondering upon since 3 days. I want to explore your response before enrolling into the premium membership program. Would love to see some quick and short responses of the following questions ;)
Q1: How many years/months/days have passed since you've become a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate?
*Q2: When did you actually started to make $$ amount after enrolling into the premium membership and after going through the fundamental training programs?
*Q3: When did you actually started to make $$$ amount after enrolling into the premium membership and after going through the fundamental training programs?
*Q4: When did you make your first $1000 a month?
*Q5: Being a Premium Member of Wealthy Affiliate, what is your average income per month? If you don't want to share it in public, can you instead tell me whether it's below or above $$$?
Q6: Do you remember how much time did you dedicate on your first blog?
Q7: How much time are you spending on your current web business?
Q8: As I do have knowledge on both of the marketing techniques, what training course on Wealthy Affiliate would be best for me after enrolling into the Premium Membership (the one I won't be able to get access into if I don't upgrade)
Q9: Do you recommend the Wealthy Affiliate Program to someone like me?

a different kind of answer to that which I normally give- in that I suggest listening to the heart. Anything that you need to find is here, or there is someone to help you find it. The vibe is truly excellent and focused.
If your heart gets pulled listen to it and follow it. If you look at what you have not had in the past, and what you are experiencing here and like what you feel, you have your answer. Just be careful that you ask the right questions and listen to any answers that pop up.
You are your own best guide.

I hear you... thanks Andy. I am in the middle of making the decision as I HAVE learned good stuff which I was unaware of before. So yes, this gives Wealthy Affiliate a plus point from my side. I have to make the decision before tomorrow as I believe it's now or never!
Hi Sana - your blog is definitely up and live. I'm really sorry that you got pulled into a scam like that. You're far from being the only one. I'm not going to answer all your questions - but I will answer 8, 9 and 10.
Q8. You get access to more courses - all of which are useful. You also have the premium contact, live chat, discussions, blogging etc. Communication on the starter course stops after day 7 - which makes it a great deal more challenging.
Q9. Do I recommend - it yes. But there are no quick fixes and you should have a good look first before deciding whether you're ready to make that commitment. And if you do you have to keep motivated to make it work.
Q10. This blog post is just fine and clearly shows you won't have an issue with building your own site with quality content.

Q2 - Less than 1 month by recruting my first premium member.
Q3 - Same as Q2
Q4 - Soon but Not yet
Q5 - Can't tell you exactly but i earn more on selling affiliate product ( sometimes 15 dollars per day and sometimes 30 and sometimes 0 + adsense revenus+ wa commissions etc... ) than the making money niche.
Q6 - 10 hours per day for 3 month
Q7 - 8 hours per day minimum
Q8 - Entrepreneur certification .
Q9 - I recommand to every body.
Q10 - Yes this blog will help every free member to take THE decision
My advice is to not start with the making money niche ;)
I started WA end september 2013.

Youré welcome to join us. I can understand your coments about beeing "slaved" by others. You have got a lot of experience and so you can soon build a service with your own brand.Find out what knowledge is the most promising skill of youselfe, don´t get dirstracted to 20 jobs at once. Your time and your energy is used up and you cannot get the break trough in one. Having your own site and offering one greta and useful valuable service makes it possible that your name, your ability and your reputation grows to an authority. Focus instead of beeing distracted, that is the secret. A real useful valu also gives a monetary result.
In doing a contract work you can set the condition that your brand always has to be built into the site you offer or sell. By that way your work is branded and multiplied by and by to get on top.
