Decision Pointers
Dear Friends and Extended WA Family,
I sure that this post finds you in a great mood, especially as it FRIDAY!!!
YEAH!!
We all have to make decisions in life…little ones, big ones, any kind of ones…but yes, there comes a time when we have to.
Have you ever noticed that sometimes, you lose more sleep over making the decision versus just making the decision and letting the ‘chips fall where they may’?
We really need to do things differently.
Here is a little list that you can use as a guideline and I hope it will make the ‘decision time easier and quicker.
- Be informed – gather as much information as you can based on the time you have and the tools to get the info.
- Make a list of the pros and cons.
- Breathe – be still for a while and gather your thoughts – tune into your source whatever that might be – that still small voice, spirit, God, Jahweh – you get my drift.
- Ask the advice of someone you trust – keep in mind that the information you get from them does not necessarily mean that you are obligated to use it.
- Remember that most things are not irrevocable.
- Embrace your decision – no one is perfect and we all act on what we know at that given point in time.
- Believe that your decision is a step towards getting you to where you need to be – muster that self-confidence.
- Decide, commit and go for it - that's it, decide, process, and let it go.
I know all this might seem ‘familiar’ because in no uncertain words, ‘we have heard it all before’.
However, it’s a little like the water and the stone – the constant drip of water on a rock will slowly erode its surface.
Ok, so you are not a rock, but you get my point – constant repetition will eventually lead to something ‘sticking’ and what better thing to stick that some good pointers to success.
I would love to hear your feedback
Namaste
