Gravatar email on site feedback - what?
Why when offering site feedback to I have to provide a Gravatar email address? I don't have one and I don't want one.
Hmm I am not sure why. But why don't you want a Gravatar? I really enjoy having mine now. I think it makes you seem more real to readers when there is a little pic of you commenting. It gives a more real feel to it all in my opinion. I'd like to think that it would make me seem more trustworthy to potential customers. It might help them to connect with me, my product, and my website.
Allison,
Thanks for the quick feedback. Not that I am against including a pic on my email, I was just put off by the fact that I am required to offer feedback on sites to get feedback and I encounter another "hoop" to jump through in order to complete the task. Your observation is valid though in portraying an image of realism. Michael

Turn off the the live chat notification sound
On the top right, there is a green speaker icon. Click on that green icon and it will turn red. Once you have done that you should not hear the sound anymore.

I add my url, I redirect via whois.com and I name the site. Now what? Nothing seems to get saved and I don't want to continue only to have to start over. I know the redirection
What do you want to accomplish?
I assume you want to transfer your domain name to WA.
I don't understand why you redirect the site?
The only thing, if it is to another hosting that you want to bring your domain name, that you have to do is changing the name servers on your previous hosting.
You have to replace the previous with the ones of WA:
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
Did you do this?
Grtz,
Bert

Wondering about proprietary rights & regs
So as long as I own the domain name, the fact that WA provides the Wordpress template and hosts it, I maintain possession of content and if I choose to I can transfer the site to a different hosting provider in the future?
