Number One On Google!
I so did not expect this to happen. I created a new site which is my self branded site which is focused on helping Network Marketers, and anyone who has a business. Once I get more content on there I will keep pouring on sales techniques, best practices, ect. However I did not expect my first article I wrote to rank so high for many terms! I was on the first page for part of my site title, and page three for two other titles.
I'm pretty excited to continue to publish more content! The article is about 1100 words and follows best practices for SEO. It may not be a win that equals revenue, but it's a win in my book =) have to celebrate the small wins.

I wonder how you know that Google has taken away power of backlinks. Can show you a direct statement from their public person in charge who answered a question about it, content or backlinks. The answer was clear, they both are on the same level, number 1 factor. In which order? No order, this was his answer.
Speculation. Obviously, backlinks will always be a major important factor, but I think over many years, the value of other factors has increased a bit. However, I like posting factual stuff that can be proven... so I have removed it from my blog.
