The core update has been over for a week now

So the core update ended on April 19th. Still no manual actions. Most of my pages are indexed. Still no traffic.

I have not seen any changes in my site. I might give it another month then look into trying something else. I think Vitaliy said this might be a good time to start a new niche.
Meantime I am learning as much as I can about social media and continue to post to Medium, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. I will publish an end-of-month update but it's definitely on the upswing.

I'm in no position to advise anyone about anything but, based on my own experience, starting a new niche is probably not the best idea.
It never worked for me.
To me, it's kind of like having a falling out with a spouse or sweetheart and searching for a new spouse or sweetheart. All that happens is, we have the same problems with someone else.
In general, I've found the best approach is to look in the mirror and inside ourselves to ask ourselves what we can do better and to learn from whatever mistakes we may have or probably have made.
But, I can only speak for myself.

I agree with one thing. It's more like bigamy than divorce. You can't just drop your current spouse. So you would need a strategy where you can start one niche while maintaining the other

I would continue with your current site and the social platforms. It looks like Google has raised the bar on the amount of domain authority we need to be taken seriously.

Thanks for sharing. I agree with Vitaliy’s suggestion. I'm doing Pinterest and writing posts. You’re right about diversifying. Now I am trying to add email newsletter on my website need to get that set up.

i started two new blogs at the start of the year and now I have 3
