Tools & Resources We Need for Traffic
In order to come up with relevant keywords that will help us bring our posts to get indexed and thereby rank in Google, Bing & Yahoo, we need tools and resources to use.
In Wealthy Affiliate, we have Jaaxy Keyword Tool Review, that has access to site rank, that helps track keywords that ranks. It is the most powerful, accurate, and robust keyword research platform on the market.
How to find keywords that rank well in search engines is a crucial aspect of search engine optimization (SEO) and content creation. Here's a simplified guide on how to find such keywords, along with some tools and resources you can use:
1. Brainstorm Relevant Topics:
- Start by brainstorming topics that are relevant to your website, blog, or content. Think about what your target audience might be searching for.
2. Use Google Suggest:
- Go to Google and start typing a broad topic related to your niche. Google's autocomplete feature will suggest popular search queries. These suggestions can be excellent keyword ideas.
3. Explore Google Search Results:
- Conduct a Google search for a specific topic in your niche. Scroll down to the bottom of the search results page to find the "Searches related to" section. These related searches can provide keyword inspiration.
4. Use Keyword Research Tools:
- Google Keyword Planner: This free tool helps you find keywords related to your niche. It provides data on search volume and competition. You'll need a Google Ads account to access it.
- Ubersuggest: Ubersuggest is a user-friendly keyword research tool that provides keyword ideas, search volume, competition, and more.
- SEMrush: SEMrush is a comprehensive SEO tool that offers in-depth keyword research features. It provides data on keyword difficulty, trends, and competitors.
- Ahrefs: Ahrefs is another powerful SEO tool that offers keyword research capabilities, including keyword difficulty analysis and competitor research.
5. Focus on Long-Tail Keywords:
- Long-tail keywords are longer and more specific phrases (3-5 words) that often have lower competition. These can be easier to rank for and can attract highly targeted traffic.
6. Analyze Competitor Keywords:
- Look at the keywords your competitors are targeting. Tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs can help you identify these keywords. Analyze which keywords are driving traffic to their websites.
7. Consider User Intent:
- Think about the intent behind the keywords. Are people looking for information, products, or solutions? Create content that matches user intent.
8. Use Keyword Variations:
- Don't rely solely on one keyword. Use variations and synonyms in your content to capture a broader range of search queries.
9. Check Keyword Difficulty:
- Some keyword research tools provide a keyword difficulty score. Aim for keywords with a reasonable level of competition that you can realistically rank for.
10. Create High-Quality Content:
- Once you've identified your target keywords, create high-quality, informative, and engaging content around them. Use the keywords naturally in your content.
11. Monitor and Adjust:
- Keep track of how your content is performing in search results. If certain keywords aren't driving traffic, consider tweaking your content or targeting different keywords.
12. Stay Updated:
- SEO and keyword trends can change over time. Stay informed about the latest developments and adapt your strategy accordingly.
Remember that finding the right keywords is just one part of the SEO puzzle. Creating valuable content and providing a great user experience on your website are equally important factors in achieving higher rankings in search engines.

Thanks, Maria, for this great reminder of keyword tools available.
Much appreciated.

Great post, Maria! ๐๐
Domain authority is becoming more and more important for ranking content on page one of Google.
High DA sites with thin and outdated content are now occupying many of those spots, especially UGC sites like Reddit and Quora.
Luckily, my siteโs DA continues to increase, but itโs still pretty low at 23.

Domain authority between 50 to 60 must be rated above average, above 60 is excellent!
Domain Authority is influenced by the number of links to your domain.
Appreciate you sharing this particulars Frankie ๐ธ ๐!!!

Hi Maria
Yes, DA is connected to the number of niche-appropriate high quality do-follow backlinks a site receives..
I believe that AI will change that over the coming years.

AI, being the forefront of everything we do now, changes the platform unto the next height!
Excited for what else we may be learning pretty soon Frankie๐ธ๐!!!

Excellent list of tips, Maria.
Occasionally, I'll use Google Trends and Twitter Trends for additional ideas too.
Appreciate the post!

Super information Maria. An excellent reminder for me about what tools are available to me. Damned good stuff. I need to pay a lot more attention to this.
Thank you
Bux
Its about the only thing I can be good about.
We all have to have some virtues, mine is skipping coffee and a cake on the first of each month.
But don't worry, I will have a double chocolate death in a mouthful cake tomorrow.
Bux
That next chocolate hit is only 12 hours away.
I'm trying to get some work finished and catch up on the week. I'll do another half hour and then settle for that for the day.
You look after yourself.

Hi Maria,
The only thing people need to be aware of is that Ahref and Semrush are not free. Semrush is the most expensive one. UberSuggest is Patel's business. It's a free and paid version. Ahref and Semrush paid to access their tools. Jaaxy is available for us. There are other free SEO tools, such as SEO Powersuite, but if you want more advanced features, you must use their paid version. SE Ranking paid, Mangools/KWFinder, paid. Everywhere you turn around for these tools, it's not free. Newbies starting on WA Platform should not use paid tools if they can't afford them. Instead, they can use Jaaxy with their paid membership here.
That is why I introduced WAโs Jaaxy in my 2nd paragraph Brenda.
The rest are runners up that anyone can use at oneโs own discretion.
Thank you for your thoughtful insights!
Cheers,
Maria ๐น

Brenda, Is Jaaxy totally free or do we at WA only have access to the free version. Certain tasks I tried to do on Jaaxy they ask me to upgrade. e.g. To view the ranking of my competitor.
Erin, Jaaxy Lite is part of the package for Premium. If youโre having challenges, try to clear your cache browser, rese your device, or if it still persists to be an issue, reach out to Kyle/Carson, it will be sorted out.
Cheers,
Maria
