This post if for complete newbies who want more info on how to make money online for free and no scams! It is related to my previous post "https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/msmoneyhoney/blog/.... So, feel free to check that one out as well.

For this post, you will be using one or both of the Free web-sites provided through Wealthy Affiliate.

TWO METHODS CAN BE USED

I will also be outlining only one method here on Wealthy Affiliate. For my other method on "How To Make Money Online For Free and No Scams - Part 2," along with the remaining optional steps, please click the blue button on my picture that says "view profile" and visit my Blog site listed below on the right, "Build Passive Income and Wealth."

FIRST THINGS FIRST - KEYWORD RESEARCH!

Before you even start, you will need a product you wish to sell, or an affiliate link to someone else's product that you wish to sell. So, first things first. What is your niche? What is your "specialty," what is the product you are selling? Have you done any type of keyword search to help determine demand and possible competition?

If you haven't, you can use Google's keyword search tool which is available to those who have registered to use Google's AdWords, or you can also use 30 Free searches that Jaaxy gives you as a free trial. You can find the Jaaxy link on the lower left of this page. Using either one or both of these methods will help you to choose your keyword and write your content. But, before you begin your research, make sure you have your approval first if you're applying for an affiliate program.

APPLY FOR YOUR AFFILIATE PROGRAM

If you don't have a product of your own, and you will be setting up affiliate links, there are a number of legitimate products to sell through affiliate programs. All you have to do is use Google! ...or Bing... or Yahoo. But, for now, we will be focusing on using Google.

You can find products that people are actually looking for and will buy. Type in your product along with the term "affiliate program," and you will likely receive either blog posts about your search topic, or you will find an actual affiliate program for your preferred product. Once you find one, apply through the appropriate source, and wait for your approval. Once those two things are done, you can proceed to the next step!

CHOOSE YOUR FREE DOMAIN NAME

Next, you will be choosing a domain name. You can either use something that is "keyword" relevant, or you can use something "memorable."

Example: BuildPassiveIncomeandWealth (dot) com is a keyword domain whereas MsMoneyHoney (dot) com is something more "memorable."

Other examples could be something like:

LearnToGolf (dot) com vs. GolfingGary (dot) com

SecondHandClothes (dot) com v TrudysTreasures (dot) com .....you get the point.

Ok, once that's done, and you like one, now let's snag it and make it "official!"

SETTING UP YOUR FREE WORDPRESS WEBSITES:

Step 1) Go to my profile page here on WA and click the link "TinyUrl / MMH Free WebSite" Link. There, you will be setting up your Free Trial with Wealthy Affiliate, and you will have use of two Free Websites. You will be using the SiteRubix.com top-level domain to create a sub-domain.

Step 2) Write a lengthy sales page that you will be posting to this page. Something not too "salesy," but the page will be used as a landing page to provide good content for your readers about the product or products you wish to sell. Use good relevant content, use pictures, bullet or numbered lists, larger headings and assorted visuals to make the page appealing. Also leave adequate "white" space.

Now, if you have joined an affiliate program, even if it's Amazon's affiliate program, and will be using affiliate links, vendors will also (usually) provide you with pictures, banners, and/or text links. They are "usually" provided in the form of html code. But, no worries if you don't know how to write code. You won't have to learn if you can "cut and paste." You will be pasting the code into the text editor of your Free WordPress site, and you will get the hang of it soon enough. If you get stuck anywhere, you will be able to ask me or the Wealthy Affiliate forum for help during your 7 day trial period which is more than enough time to write your landing page.

Step 3) If your article is at least 1200-1500 words, and you have either a product you wish to sell, a link to your product, or a link to an affiliate product, paste your live link on this page. Again, in the WordPress editor box, you will see two tabs: Visual and Text. In order to paste code, you will be using the Text tab, find your spot, and paste your code where you want it to show. It is important to make sure you have captured the entire code as a portion will not work at all, and it will not display properly. You may use the "visual" tab to write the rest of your content, or cut and paste from a word pad file - whichever is your preference.

Step 4) If you're not familiar with what authorities consider to be spam, make sure you read up and steer clear of any type of misleading or deceptive statements such as "you WILL earn $3200 a week" if you do this, buy this, or whatever. The FBI does have guidelines on what constitutes a scam, and I've written about those as well on my blog site. It is wise to educate yourself about your product offering, and stay away from unrealistic claims or scammy type language. You can do this and stay both legal and ethical.

Step 5) Input the appropriate Legal Disclosures and Privacy Policy information either on that same page, or conspicuously linked at the top - especially if you are capturing email data. Again, refer to authority sites for more information.

WRAPPING UP

And, that's it! Using these five steps alone, you should begin to capture "natural traffic" for your landing page. And, the more traffic you build, the more sales you will likely make. Of course, there are other things you could do to increase your traffic, and I will be sharing those on my blog. So, feel free to stop over for a visit and read more there!

SUMMARY

This method is all FREE. If you follow this method, have a product that is in demand with low competition and you have implemented all five steps, you should be generating some money - all done for FREE.
