over 18000 words in one month - sac challenge update!
I set my self a target at the begining of month 1 in the SAC challenge to write 12000 words. To me that seemed impossible.
Goal 1 - 12 thousand words!
I put my head down and took action. Start with word one and just wrote . I said to my self if I could just get close i would be happy with that. Never having enough time is my major issue for me so this is what I did about it.
1: use my mobile phone
2: Work with google doc’s offline on my mobile
3: Use my breaks and lunch half hour at work to write.
4:when my article is written use copy and paste and add it to my content here at WA.
5: not to admire when I complete and published a post but to start on the next post as soon as possible.
Over 18 thousands words written (smashed goal 1)
Yesterday I decided to take a look at where I was at and the headline says it all.
I am over the moon with the numbers I have written.
Tips to get your word count up
# don’t worry about spelling. Just write your thoughts about your subject down. This can be corrected afterwards with a spellchecker. (Google docs, grammerly, or the one within the content tab here at WA.
# don’t worry about headings. They can be added when the post is written. This slows you down trying to nail the catcy, perfect heading.
# don’t spent time on spacings and paragraphs. Type as fast as your thoughts will let you :) This can be adjusted after your article is near completion.
#try to make each article over 1000 words.
Note: perfection does not exist. It’s better to get your content out there, for people to read, when you are happy with. Rather than to keep changing it to make it perfect.
You can always go back later on edit the post and changer sometime in the future.
Set yourself a writing goal for next month!
Use your world around you for inspiration to find ideas for new content.
Books
Magazines
Tv
Nature
People you know
To name just a few resources available to us all.
7 things to check when finishing of your post!
•make each article at least 1000 words
•4 to 5 catchy headlines throughout each post
•look for low hanging fruit in the keywords jaaxy research tool.
•check all you links are working
•add a WA banner to each post ( or any other banner)
•check spelling ( I have been told of for this a few times) It doesn’t look professional if mistakes are all over your article.
•add images that match your article and what you are talking about.
What’s your writing goal?
12 posts in a month should give you at least 12000 words
Good luck to you all
Keep writing ??

That is great content creation, Matthew, you will be feeling pretty pleased with your outcomes.
It can be amazing how much extra time we can create when we start using that phone for more than sending calls, texts and checking social media.
Best wishes for the following months.

Nice work, I am closing in on 40,000 for the month in 14 posts. I say that not to brag but to wonder out loud what I have been thinking about for a while - whether I am better to do more posts with slightly less words or less posts with more words...
