My Progress so far
My Progress so far has not been without some hiccups. My laptop slowed to a halt, eventually I had to replace it. Took me a week or more to get started on my lessons .
What has worked for me and helped me to achieve some success are the training with Kyle and the active community. I found many of my answers in the community threads. Some of the memebers were having the same concerns, questions and some willingly shared their spin on processes that made the lessons easier to follow.
I am not really sure that the niche I chose is a winner. I have started a sub-niche and I think it has a bigger audience. After my second or third posting on the sub-niche, I read a thread in the community posting suggesting a sub-niche. It became clearer that selecting a sub-niche was a positive move.
Using social media so far is the area I have had to struggle the most. I have had to move much slower as I spend a lot of my time reading comments and challenges other members are experiencing. I have also had to return to my lessons and read and reread. Also what has helped is looking at other members website and leaving comments.
But there has been a bright moment. I started making posting on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. But I was just not comfortable that anyone would read my postings. A couple days ago, I was going through a lesson where Kyle was stressing the importance of adding some commentary along side the post. So, I went through all my postings and added comments. Shortly after I had a number of responses on my Facebook page.
I am really excited about that small success.
For the next three months, my goal is to provide relevant content that my audience will enjoy reading.
Grateful for this opportunity.

Keep moving forward Monica. Every little step is a better than not taking action. I'm not a big user of social media for my site. I tend to focus on writing content and letting Google rank it. So not everyone needs to focus on social media.
Moving on and up, learning is the basis of being challenged and getting positive feedback. Good going.

Thank you!
Learning and being challenged seem to go hand in hand.
Thank you for the encouragement.

Hi Monique. I've been in this program about 3 weeks. My laptop was doing funny things also. I didn't have to buy one. My son-in-law had one I could have. It's an older model but gets the job done so I am familiar with hiccups. It seems like you're doing very well. Lean on the community as you have. There is usually someone having the same issues. Best wishes.
Thank you,
So grateful for having such a great community.
Good luck! You will soon discover if you haven't already how helpful the training and the community are at WA.
Cheers and Best wishes!
Hi, Monique looks like you are making good progress, drilling down into a niche can bring some really good results, usually, because that is where folks are spending money.
There is a bridge to cross, we are online and at some stage, we have to venture out and share, it can feel uncomfortable at first, it is all about creating that positive online presence.
All the best for the coming three months you will surprise your self how much you grow in that time.
Alex

Thanks for sharing your progress, Monica. I have learned something: that one can have a sub-niche. I will be exploring that as I proceed with my training.
All the best
Mojalefa.
Thank you Mojalefa,
I love the community - we are always learning and sharing.
