Hi, Monica.
Being a writer has always been my Niche of choice. But then I decided to get serious on the WA/MMO Niche. But, saying that before I actually chose Writer as a Niche, I couldn't figure out a good one for me and my circumstances.
Now the challenge is getting my websites going. I am having SMTP trouble with my MMO site and waiting to hear back from Site Support.
Content creation is not a problem, and I haven't gotten to anything else on your list.
JD
Hi JD, thanks for sharing this. It sounds like you’ve actually got a strong foundation already—being a writer is a big advantage, especially in the WA/MMO space. A lot of people struggle with content, so having that part covered puts you ahead.
The technical hiccups can definitely be frustrating, but once the SMTP issue is sorted, things usually start moving again. It’s good you’ve already reached out to Site Support.
Keep going—you’re on the right path, and it sounds like momentum will pick up once the tech side is resolved.
Absolutely! Traffic can be such a roadblock—both in real life and online 😄. Staying consistent and patient really helps, even when progress feels slow.
That’s great to hear! AI really is a game-changer when it comes to language—makes writing and communication so much easier.
Haha, I hear you, Mel! 😄 Figuring out where to invest wisely is definitely a challenge—but the right strategy can make every dollar work for you.
Since my site is only a few months old, and most of dedicated work in the last month and a half. Traffic is still my challenge. Which is where I thought I would be. I am trying to automate as much as I can as I go.
That makes sense—traffic usually takes time, especially with a newer site. Automating where you can is smart, and staying consistent will pay off. You’re on the right track!

My big hurdle/challenge has been TRAFFIC… because these days, it seems like it’s a “pay to play” plan, because SEO seems to be growingly difficult, especially with the introduction of more searchers using AI.
Second, is the conversion. Getting someone to opt in or join the WA Starter Plan. (I think I could get them to upgrade once I got them into the WA platform.)
In general, I’m finding that people are very hesitant or skeptical of trying something new. Especially when there are so many options out there of things to try.
There’s no shortage of people trying to sell you something.
I am currently trying to find that micro niche of people that are most likely to pursue the (Wealthy Affiliate) path.
Is it people that want to supplement their income because of their fear of running out of money? Or is it people that just want financial compensation for promoting something they’re passionate about? Or is it someone that wants to get super rich?
Personally, I am just looking for something that is passive, recurring, and scalable, so I can turn up the volume if I find it necessary.
Best of LUCK 🍀
You’re absolutely right—traffic and conversions are tougher than ever, especially with SEO shifting and AI changing how people search. The skepticism is real, and trust has become the biggest hurdle.
I like your micro-niche approach. From what I’m seeing, people looking for stability, scalability, and long-term growth tend to be the most open. Passive and recurring income is the goal for many of us.
Best of luck 🍀
I’m seeking out industries or interests that are suitable to the Affiliate Marketing Model.
I’m thinking Real Estate Agents are of the mindset of “patience”, stability, scalability and long-term growth.
Perhaps an interest of “vegetable gardening” because they know it takes TIME from planting the seeds until harvesting the fruits of the labor.
I like the way you’re thinking! 🌱 Both real estate and gardening are great examples of niches where patience and long-term growth are valued. People in these areas understand that results take time, which aligns perfectly with the Affiliate Marketing mindset. Smart approach!
