What Would You Outsource if You Had The Money?

Hi all. I used to post a lot, until I got super busy.

But today, I want to share with you the importance of outsourcing once you start making money online with your business. First, just so you know, I never thought I'd make money online, let alone, enough to start paying other people to work for me!

WA changed all that.

See, there are some things I love doing within my business, there are some things I don't know how to do, and there are some things I know how to do, but hate doing.

So, how do you know what to outsource?

Well, for me, right now, it's important that I ramp up my article writing production. Now, I'm real picky about writing. I love writing, and it's important that I pick a writer who has my voice.

That's no easy feat.

But I knew that I needed to start producing more than 1 article per week. And my niche is not an easy topic to write on either.

So to kick things up a notch, I determined to write and post 2-3 articles per week. I didn't come up with this on my own. Actually, I read this idea on one of these WA posts. Can you imagine if you produce 2 articles a week?

That's 2 x 52 = 104 articles by the end of the year!

Now, imagine what traffic you'll be bringing in?

Now imagine 3 articles per week? 3 x 52 =156 articles by the end of the year!

So... I put out ads on Textbroker, Upwork, Freelancer and Fiverr. Writing is hit or miss. You definitely get what you pay for. I pay $30 per 1,000-word article. I never dreamed I'd ever pay that much for an article.

But, it's soooo worth it.

Especially if the writer is great. Now the good news is that I make enough money that I can hire someone (or two) to write 2-3 articles a week for me. That's, at most, $360 a month (on the higher end of 3 articles per week).

Yes! I'm making enough money to do this.

My writers free me up to do other things, like social media posts and learning how to drive traffic to my site!

I highly recommend re-investing money into your business so that you can free yourself up to do the other things your business needs to grow.

Start with maybe outsourcing one article a week. And you don't have to pay $30 per article by the way. But remember, you do get what you pay for.

What do you think? If you had the extra money, what would you outsource?

Hi Shalisha,
Thanks for this post, I've been meaning to comment on it earlier, but got side tracked, and just did a search for it.
I'm totally on board with you, why not employ someone else to do the things we are simply too busy for.

When we outsource, we become employers.
After all most of us have been employees at some point in our life, and am sure we appreciated the work.

I love to outsource especially if it has anything to do with SEO.

I never thought of myself as an employer until I read the following article: Melanie

The content writing, like yourself, Shalisha!

Jeff

Great article.

I absolutely enjoy the writing. I would outsource most everything else, especial SEO and website maintenance tasks, so I could focus more on writing my own content.

I'm done writing articles. To be honest, I never enjoyed it but I persevered and can finally pay someone else to do it. I outsource 100% of my articles now.

This allows me to spend more time on higher level tasks and growth of my business.

It was also important for me to learn how to delegate. That just because the article is not written how I would have written it, it does not mean that I have to go change things.

LOL. You sound like me. I had to learn not to micromanage. But I also had to make sure I was getting what I really wanted and what I was paying for.
