Still sick over here, feel like I have the plague. But it has given me some time to rest and think about life and my vision for my business venture.

I have seen multiple people who are successful say that it takes at least 6 months to see a site start to really come to life. So, I am letting it ride and making content. I enjoy writing so no skin off my nose.

I am not rushed to have a full-time income, my husband and I both have jobs and he is going to be joining me in the WA adventure to build this empire together. However long it takes, it takes.

My goal is to have things in order before retirement. I have 17 years left before I can retire. It seems so far away, but it really isn't. I have kids older than that.

I want to be out of debt and buy a decked-out RV so my husband and I can travel the country, and maybe even the world. That is who we are, we love to travel and we are both writers. We have struggled together for years, raised 4 amazing humans, our "baby" is almost grown.


There were times, many times we ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so the kids could eat. We put off clothes and shoes for ourselves so long that they were falling apart at the seams. We have gone to work vomiting, with fevers, and limped in the door after 16 hours on our feet.

This, this is for us. For our retirement. Because I realized when the kids all started graduating, they aren't going to be here forever. Eventually, they will all move along and start their own lives and families. Then its us and the cats.

Time to live it up.
