"The Secret"
I want to talk to you guys & gals about something "different" today. I watched a video the other day named "The Secret"
Some of you may have heard of it, some maybe not...although it is a law that is already pervasive in many religions and those of you who are religious may already be practicing "The Secret" and reaping the rewards.
Disclaimer: this is not a religiously based post nor do you have to be religious to practice "The Secret"
What is it?
The Secret lies in the Law of Attraction, just like the universe follows a set of natural laws (Physics, biology, chemistry etc...) The universe also operates in ways that we may not fully understand but can most certainly feel in our very core...
You know that feeling, it's the good or bad vibes you get or give off at any given moment. Those aren't just gut feelings...they're real feelings from real actions, with real consequences.
I want to invite you to keep an open mind and try something today...
The Law of Attraction
Is the law in the Universe that what you give off, you shall so receive. Negative thoughts, worry, anger etc.. will lead to more of those things and the same for positive emotions. This is fundamentally more powerful than it may sound at first...
So I urge you to try this:
- Ask (For something you want, and be realistic about a time)
- Believe (That you will receive this things, without knowing how)
- Receive (It into existence by believing day in and day out that you will get that "Thing")
It sounds crazy, I know; but try it- and give the movie "The Secret" a watch if you have the chance to do so.
You won't be disappointed.

Fascinating website! I've always been interested in the topic of reincarnation. It seems impossible to me that we live eternally in one direction, so to speak, i.e. suddenly we're here and exist forever. If time is eternal, then any given point would be the center. Thus, wouldn't it make sense that we exist eternally in both the past and future directions?
If the Source of all there is ('God', if you like) is eternal, then so are we, since we are part of that Spirit, that Consciousness. Like a drop of water from the ocean has all the properties of the ocean, so do we, in spirit form, have all the properties of that Consciousness and have access to all the knowledge there is. The sad part is that, in human form, we forget that, and we feel lost. It is a fascinating study.
The film idea came from mainly from this book 'The science of getting rich'. It is available free on the net. I am reading it now, it's awesome. Written by a christian but written in a way that can appeal to and in order to reach people of other faith or no faith. Yes you are right some faiths are already practicing it.
It's all in this statement '‘if you say to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says'.
I would say prayer is almost "The secret" in a sense...although I am not religious- I do believe there is a higher order or "creator" of sorts whether that be a sentient/magical being or not...
I tend to lean more towards an intelligent form of immeasurable & chaotic energy but...who knows? haha.

Awesome info and point of view on politics and way of life etc... I agree wholeheartedly with the info you're presenting on your site.. but the contrast can be a distraction brotha...

Just changed the text and brightened it up. For the most part it is professionally designed with a custom theme, and I can't do radical changes. Besides, the dark background and orangish menus/links fit the theme perfectly.
Being less wordy is absolutely not an option for my audience. But tell me what you think of the changes made. :)
I ran into it back in 2008 and it is hard to get your life turned around but once you do you see everything in a different light.
Thanks for the add on there. I think it's good to know someone who has started in the dark and found there own light, so to speak.
Hi Diedrick - very good post - I've heard of this being "framed" in different ways (six steps, once command etc), but it all comes down to what you've summarised.
There are far too many unknown questions about why we're here, what's on the other side of the edge of space, where was the big bang - it must have happened in a physical "place"... (just my questions) - so I fully believe there are things that can affect us, that science can't yet explain.

Diedrick, Mark, my website is about this very thing (amongst many other things).
There are specific ways of 'asking' ...... actually, 'asking' is the wrong way to go about it, since you are admitting that you don't have what you want. You have to convince your subconscious mind that you already HAVE what you want, and then your subconscious mind will get to work to to steer you in the right direction.
By focusing on what you don't have, you will only attract more of the same - ie. wanting things you don't have. "Where the attention goes, the energy flows" (see my blog about this). The mind is a wonderful thing - such a great pity that we are never formally taught how to use it. There is so much, Mark, that science does not know, and so much that scientists just refuse to believe.
Hi - I've read that when we are born, we are fully open to everything and anything - and can "see" things that others have learned, or been taught to not see/forget.
They say as we learn, our brains create links - but maybe the links are what subdue our ability to think freely. Learning to "unlearn" these constraints maybe what is at the root of these types of "secrets of the mind".
It's a truly fascinating subject - I just wonder with the way things in science and the universe progress, will people in 200 years be looking back at us and saying "they were so in the dark - of course the mind and manifesting what you want are connected"!

Yes, Mark - In short , we are brainwashed by our culture. Our culture is 'our reality' - it is like the 'operating system' on a computer. We can re-program ourselves, as indicated in my avatar. It is a fascinating area, my passion!

I'm sort of new to the concept but it makes perfect sense to me as it is something that I feel has always been in my unconscious mind as fact.
I'll have to check out your website "animate" as I am looking to really unlock the true potential that lies in the law of attraction.

Yes I have been studying this too, Bob Proctor, The Science of getting Rich, goes into a lot more depth on The Law of Attraction. A fabulous program, I have learnt a lot. I highly recommend it. He refers to The Secret a great deal. It is quite a revelation to realise that the way you think affects everything you do. Thanks for the post. Merry Christmas everyone.
