Do you have an Ebook?

Wow hard to believe it is 2017. So much has happened over the last three years. I thought I would share a couple of tips you may or may not have heard about. One of which is creating an ebook. I think a lot of people have some confusion about this. When I first started, I thought that if I was going to put out an ebook that it had to be like 100 pages long. I thought that it had to contain life changing information. Truthfully speaking, however, that is not true. In fact, if you are using an ebook for the purpose of list building, it doesn't even have to be longer than a blog post. In my opinion it might even be better to offer multiple ebooks with one linking to the next. Why you might ask? Well people will not read a long ebook. They will procrastinate and put it aside and never pick it back up. Better to give them a short read that takes them to an affiliate offer or another ebook that provides additional value. Perhaps even leading to video. The point is a when list building, giving value in the form of an ebook should be short concise information that will make them take the next step to bringing them to your affiliate offer. That is my take on it. What do you think?

Thanks for the info.

You are right about people not wanting to read 100 pages. At the same time, they will feel ripped off (even if the book is free) if it is too short.
Give them what you promise in the title, and what made them sign up for the book, and then make them want more at the end of the book.
You can create a special landing page for the readers of your ebook, with a printed link that is easy to type. Something like /ebookoffer after your domain name.
Write the ebook like a good blog post. Make it visually attractive and professional and the readers will want more.

Yep sounds like good advice. I don't think it should be much longer than a blog post. Also, it just has to be a good value and like you said represents what you promised in the title.

Just be a bit crestive in the layout. It gives a better impression when it looks like you made an effort instead of just making a pdf from a Word document :)

Sounds sensible. Hi Michael, long time no see:))
