Understanding comments

There's been a lot of traffic lately about understanding comments. There seems to be some difficulty as to what is useful and what isn't.

Comments can be classified by their usefulness in many ways

• Do they encourage innovative thought on new content?
  
• Do they invite solutions to the topic being discussed?
  
• Is a clear point driven from a combination of compound sentences and ideas?
• Is authority presented that derives a clear objective out of the content discourse given rather than a pile of facts chunked together?
• Does the comment thread give a clear picture. Is curiosity satified about what's commg up?
• Are there incentives or giveaways involved for the reader. IE. an offered e-book?
• Can the comment be expanded into multiple options of choice to enlarge rewards?.
• Bring up a point that cant be done on the face of things and than lead into a satisfactory resolution/? (problem solution anticipation)

What is needed is a clear understanding of what we say and the way to deliver it!
