Off times we have lucrative affiliate activity in some accounts. Amazon is a good example. We are sailing along obtaining sales from our links. Then…payments stop due to internal linking business decisions.
Perhaps there is an internet decision to tax proceeds in certain states that narrows the profit payout. Perhaps there is an alternative payout arrangement to other affiliate groups with a more attractive bid.
Review the history of the source’s affiliate payouts and choose carefully at first signup In all endeavors. Remember if you don’t own it, you have to be prepared to let the sought opportunity go when someone makes a rug jerking decision.
Be wary my fellow associates and always be ready to redirect your efforts with a backup plan for this eventuality.

Kind like the old Boy Scout motto "Be Prepared". Probably wouldn't hurt to have a couple of back ups. With the way things change so fast in the internet business.
