Hi Mike- Thank you for responding to my question. I went to the plugins on my site and apparently I don't have that plugin. I am not as yet on any social media sites. Also, the heading on my menu is "Krakatau" which is my theme, not the title of my site. This is all new to me so I don't know how to proceed. I'll keep sniffing around to see what I can come up with. Thanks again for your input. Real
You must have since removed them because I did not see any social icons there, if you are referring to your graphite portrait site.
Stunning portraits on your site. Love them. My mother was a portrait artist, using pastels. Mostly people. She also loved to draw birds.

Hi Jude- I was just on my portrait site and there are still a row of little red icons at the bottom of my menu bar. I am not on any social media sites yet and have no idea how they got there. And I don't have a plugin for any of them either. The heading on my menu bar has changed as well to "Krakatau" from "The Graphite Portrait". Not sure how that happened either. Thank you for commenting on my work, it's something I really enjoy. Many folks that I talk to are into the arts as well, so It makes for good conversation. And thank you for responding to my question, WA is awesome in that respect, there's always someone ready to help. I'll keep sniffing around till I find a way to fix things.

It seems that you've switched themes, perhaps inadvertently. Krakatau Lite is a wordpress theme. Here's a link to its wordpress.org page:

Hi Bob- Thank you for responding to my question and for the link. I'll see what I can do to remedy things. I'm relatively new to computers so I often get stopped in my tracks by stuff like this. I think that it may have got buggered up in an update. I'll try this link you've provided. Thanks again. Real
I guess you mean a social share plugin, if is what you mean then you will go to your WordPress dashboard and head to plugins and look for that social share plugin and deactivate it.
Hi- Thank you for responding to my question. The thing is though, I'm not on any social media sites and don't have any plugins for them. This just appeared, along with my title getting changed, and I have no idea why or how. I'll keep on sniffing around till I find an answer. Thanks again and have a great Monday. Real

I have troubles to delete the social media buttons from my site. I coudn't find any plugin that causes the appearance of these buttons. Any help?

It looks like you use SumoMe plugin, that's where the social media buttons are coming from.

Hello- I would like to put some pictures on my website. Do any of you have a favorite site where you find good pictures free of charge or low cost?
List of sites for free images:

Please keep in mind that you always can get free images for your WA site through “Add Cover Image” when you go to “New Blog Post”.
Regarding images taken from google or any other site without creator’s permission, the answer is you can’t do that. If you do, you could get in trouble at any time in the future. Please read the following post:

It depends on your niche and how technical you need the pics to be. It's great when you can use your own photos as there's no worry about copyright etc. :)
I was using google images and some dont load very clearly.
Some images look blurry!!
I got the flickr plug in and used an image for ny website which made a big difference!!
With Google images, there is that possibility to hit that copyright issue, but if you add in public domain within what picture you choose you shouldn't hit that problem. As I am sure you are aware or if not then no worries, anything withing the public domain you can use.
No worries, I personally have never had issues with copyright on images using Google images, but many I am sure have. But public domain for anything even articles etc etc, is always good to use obviously say with articles not word for word, as I am sure you would like to make things like that your own. Bare public domain in mind as it has the possibility to help with alot of things, and you shouldn't bump into copyright issues as it's contents are free to the public.
