Fantastic Endurance that can conquer anything US Navy Seals

Everyone has heard about the rigorous routine of US Navy Seals. Carrying a heavy 200 lb. inflated raft for 50 miles or more. Paddling in freezing water until your mental discipline can make it feel warm.

I love the Seal Team six Richard Marchenko series. When I get done with todays work my reward will be to crack into the latest novel about nuclear espionage in India.

In one of the novels he said : " If you're not sweating, you're not eating" and then put the hottest ADDITIONAL pepper sauce on a Mexican dish.

"Are you good at giving up?

Do you think quitting keeps you sane, because carrying on will only confirm the cliché that was peddled a thousand times over when you were little?

You know the one, attributed to Albert Einstein, it goes: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Well now. There are people who think that saying is mad and you're just soft.

In the head, that is.

I've just accidentally caromed into a YouTube video narrated by Jesse Itzler.

He tells the story of a Navy SEAL whom he cold-called and invited to live with him and his family for month.

That's slightly insane, I hear you mutter. I wouldn't disagree.

Then again, I fear every human being is at minimum three parts insane"

As dedicated as they are, some of their greatest endeavors involve collaboration with other great maritime forces on the planet..

WHAO!!! I just watched that video....definitely something to remember.

You can't see me Mike, but I just gave you a high 5!!!

Great share, and honor all these members. Thanks, Mike

Hooah!!! Michael. The media immortalized SEa Air Land. I bet you have never heard of SOAR?

Hooah!! My, friend. NightStalkers Don't Quit!!

May have to train against the revitalized Russian BEAR my friend!

ROFL, we'll be ready. S.O.A.R... Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) Special Forces Black Operations.

Like SEa Air Land. Seals are Navy. SOAR ( NightStalkers are Army.)

That gives us a lift up into the wild blue yonder Chris. Do you think there will be SEAL astronauts?

No buddy, they will not.

SEAL is Navy.
SOAR is Army.

Astronauts are in the Air Force.

Now, in Star trek,Cpt. (in the army same rank as o-6 like me, except our cpt. is only an o-3) Kirk was Navy. Why? It was a ship.

let's run this by Jim Bo for an authoritative take.

ROFL.

Mike, one time when I was an o-3, (a captain in the Army, a lieutenant in the Navy) I had my driver call the squid,(Navy) base that we were going to be spending the night at and let them know that I needed a room in the officers quarters.

Anyhoo... he called and said..Captain Scott needs a room in the officers quarters. They JUMPED and said...ABSOLUTELY!!

When I got there they had rolled out the red carpet until they saw the double bars instead of the full bird.

" He's a dam* Lieutenant!!!" They all shouted at once!

ROFL, soooo funny.

Well, at least when they removed the read carpet he could roll on the floor more easily ROFL!

lol

Hi Mike, I can empathise with the US Navy Seals training programme. Having served in Irish Army and work with our own special forces they are a tough bunch of lads. No girls yet because they cannot pass the fitness required for special forces. I believe some of the motivational stuff could be transferred into civilian life. Irv.

Inspirational stuff Mike, thanks :)

Wow Mike, I am feeling the chill down my spine as I read this post. It reminds me of one adage; when you are passionate about what you do, nothing can get in the way. Quite inspiring, thank you.

I have read that one can through mental concentration and casual behavior move through a heavily guarded area unobtrusively.

Thanks for sharing, Michael.

Admiral McRaven's commencement speech to the University of Texas graduating class is memorable. He talks about changing the world in context of Navy Seal training.
