NameCheap Glad I Stuck With It!

I Am Glad I Have Stuck With NameCheap.com

When I started WA, I was clueless about many things dealing with building a Website including buying Domains. More than 10 years of Scams, and still clueless. Again WA was a Lifesaver. I did not think anything about going to NameCheap to buy a Domain. Kyle recommended it, so I did it. Now that I am not quite as Green in this Website building world, I am very happy that I have not veered away from NameCheap.com. I have bought 5 Domains from NameCheap with zero problems and fast DNS process. The reason I am happy with my choice is because of all of the problems I see people dealing with other Domain sellers such as GoDaddy.com. I have heard so many complaints and problems people have had with them that it is amazing. Slow trying to get WA's DNS processed. Pop Up charges, and many other problems I can't remember. As far as 1and1.com goes, I have not heard as many complaints, but still enough that I am Glad I have stuck with NameCheap.com. Plus I have always had WA's DNS processed very fast! By the time I get back to WA, it is done. At least it has always been fast for me. Sure I see Domain price specials all the time, but with the problems I see people having, I just as soon spend a couple bucks extra at NameCheap and not worry about problems or long waits on DNS being processed. Maybe it is just me, but that is how I feel about buying Domains. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! LOL! I only hope others that have no experience can read this and maybe think about what is better for them. Save a few dollars and risk problems and wasted time that to me is money lost, or go with who is dependable and recommended by Kyle who knows his Stuff! NameCheap.com is the way to go for Me!

To The Success Of Many!

That's awesome Michael. I like namecheap too.

This blog has perfect timing for me...I've got my first site up and running nicely and now thinking of creating site #2. Was wondering if namecheap.com was the domain provider to use again. I was pretty sure because i have not had any problems with them either. This post clinches it, though. Thanks
Dave

Thanks for the heads up.

Larry MaC, Thanks for Comment. Just trying to save some people possible problems!

good information Michael

Great post Michael! I will have to agree with you on this because a couple years ago I had the same problem with godaddy.com. Ever since I have used namecheap.com. Namecheap.com=HASSLE FREE!!!

Michael as for as 1and1.com they are ok but you do have to keep an eye on them. Here is why: I bought a domain for 99 cents the first year and 14.99 the second year. I checked my bank statements pending transaction and found that they had charged me the 99 cents and a day later the 14.99. that was in October. I called them up and they cancelled the 14.99 and did not process the 99 cents so that when I signed up for a new domain my transaction was blocked because of the 99 cents being past due. This caused another two days of my time waiting for them to correct this matter.

Richardes, Wow. Sounds like problems you could have done without! Thanks for your Comment!

As you said, it is your opinion. I have bought one domain from Namecheap and 4 from GoDaddy and have had no issues with either one. I pointed my DNS to WA and it was ready when I got back to WA for both registrars. Both companies offer add ons during check out and for both all you have to do is decline and continue to check out.
I have not received any spam emails from either one and have no issues with either one.
I buy from GoDaddy because they do have better deals on the first year.
The only registrar I have issues with is 1and1.
That is my experience, not an opinion.

AngelaHall, Thanks for your Comment. I am glad you have had no problems! Have a nice Night!

Great post, Michael. This is a question that many beginners ask. I will direct them to your blog in the future

I also totally agree with you that NameCheap is better. I tried 1and1, but they kept inundating me with emails, which was verging on spamming. So I am glad that I lost my stubbornness and went with Kyles recommendation.

Lis.

Lis, Yes Kyle has proven to know his Stuff. Thanks for the Comment!

Not to mention the free privacy that Namecheap offer. You have to pay around $8 for privacy at most other registrars

PaulOsborne, Thanks, Nice Comment you have added. Did not know other places charged for privacy. Heard of pop up Charges, but not that one.
Michael

Yeah Namecheap is definitely the way to go! Fastest DNS Transfer I have seen by far :)

floridajf, Thanks for the Comment. Just hoping to help those who are unaware of how good NameCheap really is. Have a nice night!
