Hi Mike, It was an awesome post. I try to follow the Bible, I try to do meditation and yoga but I haven't gotten that far yet. I have to many doctor's appointments to go to.

But I believe this way it really isn't what rules we live by it is what we believe in. That is just my take on this because rules change everyday and in mid stream sometimes. But it is what we believe in that doesn't change.

For me if I were to live by rules I would have to say I have to work on all of them. Because with my illnesses I have anger issues that I am working on as we speak. I am far from being perfect, I am work in progress as it were.

I have my moments but I also realize that I have to also be who God wants me to be too. But I am not judging anyone or trying to push my beliefs on anyone. You have to make that choice for yourself. Remember we all were created with free will to make our own choices.

I have also learn along the way once you make that choice you have to live with that choice too. If you can do that then there is nothing left to say. Just be happy then. Life is short enjoy it.

Mary

clears my head and sets me right most of the time really clears my head and sets me right most of the time.

My hopes were not to make these rules, but perhaps to turn them into habits.

This way, they would be more natural, also, I agree with you that one has to make their own choice, but hopefully this list will help guide one's choices.

Have a great and productive week...and P.S. NOBODY IS PERFECT, just try to be yourself as God intended.

-Mike

Yes Mike that is so true we all have to be ourselves the way God intended for us be. We all have free will and choice. I enjoyed your post and yes I took the 7 rules and more of a guide to keep us on track with work to get our websites up and running the way they should be.

No human being is perfect I know that but we have to try to live a perfect life though as much as we can. There was only one perfect human being who was also divine he knew no sin of any kind. He was God's Son Jesus Christ.

He is our savior of course but he is also someone that we want to be or ought to be like. We were created in God's image. But we have failed God in so many ways but no matter what he loves us that is why he sent his son to help us not to condemn us in anyway.

I don't want you to feel offended in anyway. And I am not trying to push my beliefs on you in any way. But my point is that we have to live our lives in a way that we follow our beliefs and whatever we do is between us and God.

You wrote an awesome post that brought us something in me that I am just passing on and we are on the same path as using the 7 Rules as more as 7 Guidelines for us to use and follow if they are within our beliefs.

Mary

I try not to compare, especially to those who have been on the Internet Marketing journey longer than I have. I'm still working on that. I try to do all of them though. It's a matter of Kai-Zen, or small, incremental improvements, every day. They're all good and important. I tend to overworry about yesterdays, though, so need to work on that. I'm stopping myself doing that more than I used to, so my emotions are more in balance., because that's one of my symptoms. I also need to be patient. Thanks, Mike!

BTW, I listen to Kirtan, and that helps a lot. It's devotional chants set to music, practiced by Hindus and Sikhs. It's very calming for me, and helps raise my dopamine and seratonin. :)

Thank you so much for feedback and comment. I think we all have things we are working on, and for me, it’s #2 & #4 for sure.

Awesome list, Mike
My favourite is Give it time
I firmly believe that all our stuggles, roadblocks and obstacles will be resolved in time
As my father's favourite quote;
The rain will not fall all the time
One day the sun will come out
It is just a matter of time

I agree Simone, but I would couple that with #5 & #7!

Have a great day!

-Mike

You're right
They both go together with number 3

Yes, I agree!

Thank you!

-Mike

Your list looks good enough for me, Mike!

Jeff

Thank you, Jeff!

-Mike

Jeff

😎👍

I hope your new day is off to an excellent start, Mike!

So far so good Jeff…no complaints here.

-Mike

None for me either, yet, Mike!

Jeff

Thanks Mike 1- acceptance, 2- tolerance and 3-patience a great start to the final 4. When I saw 7? I thought only 7, I can do that although not easy sometimes but necessary for my peace and happiness. Have a happy Sunday and may the Great God of the Universe shine down on all in the path of the hurricane, Ian as well as our suffering world!

Thank you, David!

-Mike

Those are great, Mike. Not always easy to follow them all but worth a try.

Susan

Thank you Susan!

-Mike

These are all good but don't forget the oldest one....treat others as you wish to be treated. That stops me in my tracks periodically. Let Go is hard but truly life changing.

Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.

~Debbi

Love that Debbie!

Your so right…it certainly should be on the list.

-Mike

Ah yes, Debbi! The good old, tried and true "Golden Rule"! Well said!

Jeff

I agree

-Mike

Thanks, Mike!

Mel

I like these Mel! Love does solve a lot…I agree.

-Mike

Thanks Mike!

Mel

You are welcome Mel!

-Mike

I have a slightly different outlook on the number 2. Ignore them.
I say prove them wrong!
And I tell people the message listed number 4 all the time. Dont compare someone else's chapter five to your chapter.

Stephen

I like your number 2. I used to work for a manager early in my career who used to say “prove me wrong” all the time — and it surely motivated me.

While it’s not exactly what your saying about #2…it is closely related.

Thank you

-Mike

I'd say its the the two side s of the prove them wrong coin!!

Stephen

I agree!
